Role Description This is a remote position. Contract role-Remote. - Job Description (CPQ Architect): - Design and architect scalable Salesforce CPQ solutions aligned with business requirements. - Translate complex sales processes into robust CPQ configurations and workflows. - Define data models, integration patterns, and system dependencies across the Salesforce ecosystem. - Ensure compliance with architectural best practices, security policies, and platform governance. - Implementation & Configuration: - Lead configuration of core CPQ components: - Product bundles, pricing methods, discounting rules - Quote templates and approval workflows - Subscription and renewals management - Contract generation and amendments - Oversee development of custom components using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), and Salesforce APIs when needed. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Work closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product teams to gather and refine requirements. - Partner with Salesforce Admins, Developers, Integration teams, and PMs for end-to-end delivery. - Conduct solution workshops, demos, and training for stakeholders and end-users. - Integrations & Data: - Architect and oversee integrations between CPQ and downstream systems (ERP, billing, order management, product catalog). - Ensure high-quality data migration, data consistency, and synchronization across systems. - Governance & Quality: - Define coding standards, configuration best practices, and documentation guidelines. - Perform design reviews, code reviews, and QA validation of CPQ features. - Maintain a roadmap for CPQ enhancements, scalability improvements, and technical debt reduction. Qualifications - 10+ years of Salesforce experience; 3+ years specifically in Salesforce CPQ. - Deep expertise in: - Product rules, pricing rules, and advanced approval logic - Quote-to-Cash lifecycle - Renewals, amendments, subscriptions, and billing models - Strong knowledge of: - Sales Cloud, Service Cloud - Apex, LWC, SOQL, Salesforce Flows - Integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware) - Certifications (preferred): - Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist - Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect - Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II - Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant Soft Skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement - Ability to lead technical teams and make architectural decisions - Experience working in Agile delivery environments
