Senior Field Application Engineer, Semiconductor & Embedded AI

Salve.Inno

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for customers throughout the product evaluation and integration process. • Build strong technical relationships with customer engineering teams and architects. • Support customers with technical troubleshooting, product implementation, and integration challenges. • Conduct architecture reviews, schematic reviews, and design-in support. • Deliver technical workshops and customer training sessions alongside engineering teams. • Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and Software Engineering teams to translate customer feedback into product improvements. • Partner with Sales during customer engagements by providing technical expertise and demonstrating solution value. • Support customer deployments across North America through regular onsite visits.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Field Application Engineer, Solutions Engineer, System Architect, or Technical Support Engineer within the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience supporting embedded AI or machine learning applications.
  • Strong background working with semiconductor technologies and customer implementations.
  • Experience collaborating with globally distributed engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and C/C++ .
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and/or PyTorch .
  • Knowledge of embedded development environments and AI software stacks.
  • Understanding of embedded systems and computer architecture is highly desirable.
  • Experience providing technical support for networking or complex embedded systems is an advantage.
