Deal Desk Specialist – Fixed Term Contract

• Prepare, participate in, and document multiple weekly calls to review and assist in securing executive approval for deals in the deal desk pipeline • Ensure the timely completion of critical approval actions, working in close alignment with the sales team • Maintain and update the RFP response templates, including drafting specific responses when needed • Work collaboratively with internal teams such as Legal, Finance, Pre-sales, and Sales Operations to ensure deals are executed efficiently and accurately • Assist in maintaining the delegation of approval matrix to support various deal approval level requirements • Support the sales leadership, services, and finance teams to help ensure that deals maintain financial rigor and meet margin thresholds • Engage with the Sales Team to help accelerate deal velocity, track progress, and report using Dotmatics BI tools • Assist in identifying risks and help manage change control processes for deals in progress • Collaborate with sales, customer success, finance, and services to help maintain the foundational processes for a high-performing Deal Desk • Help optimize and manage the continuous deal pipeline by ensuring adherence to deal desk guidelines and contributing to process improvement initiatives • Act as a collaborative partner to the sales organization and support functions to facilitate deal execution and approvals • Support in streamlining deal processes and workflows • Provide project support and facilitation throughout the deal desk process • Contribute to the collection and analysis of deal-related data to assist in decision-making
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience supporting projects and working with a sales team
- Proven success in the Enterprise B2B SaaS industry working in Deal Desk, Finance, Sales Operations, or Pricing
- Advanced proficiency in excel
- Familiarity with SFDC CPQ or similar sales-related systems, including data enrichment tools, is preferred
- Strong communication, time management, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work extended schedules during month-end and quarter-end cycles
