The role / impact As a Senior Solutions Consultant, you will step into a vital role as a technical expert and strategic advisor, leading our most complex and high-impact solution opportunities. You will act as a critical partner to our Sales team and customers, owning the technical solution strategy for strategic partners. By translating ambiguous and often competing requirements into scalable, future-proof solution architectures and implementation roadmaps, you will shape deal strategies while balancing customer outcomes with product capabilities. Your impact will extend across the entire customer lifecycle, guiding partners through complex pre-sales discovery, data migration strategies, and implementation governance. You will leverage your deep product and accounting workflow expertise to uncover root causes, build compelling value cases, and drive the adoption of new ways of working. Additionally, you will elevate the capability of the wider team by modelling best practice and coaching others on complex engagements. The team / how they connect The Solutions Consulting team operates at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Customer Success to design and validate advanced platform solutions. We collaborate closely to turn complex partner environments into tailored blueprints, ensuring seamless integration with the broader ecosystem. Together, we focus on sharing reusable frameworks, mentoring one another, and turning strategic partners into long-term champions of our platform. The team is currently working on / Initially, you will focus on - Leading end-to-end discovery and complex technical scoping to define scalable solution architectures for our largest opportunities. - Designing and validating tailored future-state blueprints across our product suite, practice tools, and ecosystem applications. - Advising strategic partners on data migration strategies for complex legacy environments and establishing robust implementation governance. - Synthesising partner feedback and implementation insights to provide clear recommendations to our product and engineering teams for future roadmap priorities. The expected base salary range for this role in: - $103,000 - $129,000 USD Individual pay is determined by various factors, including geography, level of experience, and the specific skills you bring to the role. In addition to base pay, Xero’s roles are eligible for the following forms of variable compensation: - Variable Pay: Permanent employees are eligible to participate in our annual bonus and equity (RSU) programs.
