• Own end-to-end development, maintenance, and enhancement of the corporate website on the WordPress VIP platform • Architect and build custom Gutenberg blocks, themes, and plugins aligned with VIP code standards • Manage VIP CLI deployments, Git-based workflows, and code reviews • Ensure security, uptime, performance, and compliance with WordPress VIP best practices • Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with WordPress VIP support • Provide architectural guidance for scalability and long-term platform health • Lead website migrations, redesigns, and platform upgrades as needed • Continuously optimize site speed, Core Web Vitals, and SEO health • Build conversion-optimized landing pages on HubSpot CMS for paid campaigns • Develop custom HubSpot templates and modules using HubL • Leverage HubDB for dynamic content where required • Implement A/B testing, smart content, and form integrations • Ensure seamless integration with HubSpot workflows, and tracking pixels • Optimize Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS) across the website and landing pages • Implement technical SEO best practices (schema, sitemaps, canonical tags, meta) • Configure and maintain Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Search Console • Set up UTM tracking, conversion tracking, and marketing pixels (LinkedIn Insight Tag, Demandbase tag, Meta Pixel) • Translate Figma / Adobe XD designs into pixel-perfect, responsive code • Ensure WCAG 2.1 accessibility compliance • Deliver cross-browser and mobile-first experiences • Enforce adherence to Gainwell brand guidelines • Partner with Design, Campaign Managers, MarTech, and SEO teams • Support marketing team with rapid landing page turnarounds (24–48 hours) for paid campaigns • Mentor junior developers and establish best practices across the team • Document code, workflows, and deployment processes • Maintain staging → production discipline and version control (Git) • Drive process improvements and technology roadmap recommendations
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of professional web development experience with strong focus on WordPress
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress VIP Go platform
- Expert-level proficiency in PHP 8.x and modern WordPress architecture
- Deep experience with Gutenberg block development (React-based custom blocks)
- Proven track record of building custom WordPress themes, plugins, and REST APIs
- Strong understanding of VIP code review standards, security, and performance guidelines
- Experience with VIP CLI, VIP Dashboard, VIP Cache, and Elasticsearch integration
- Demonstrable history of WordPress migrations, redesigns, or platform upgrades
- 2+ years of experience with HubSpot CMS, including HubL and custom module development
- Working knowledge of HubDB, HubSpot templates, and form integrations
- Experience building landing pages for paid campaigns
