Power Platform / Copilot Automation Engineer

Role Description The Microsoft Copilot Solutions Engineer - Agents & Automation is responsible for building and deploying AI-driven automation and Copilot agent solutions across enterprise environments. This role focuses on: - Designing and building Copilot Studio agent - Developing automation workflows using Power Platform - Integrating AI services and enterprise data sources - Supporting customers in scaling AI-driven processes This is a hands-on engineering role where success is defined by the ability to: - Build functional agent solutions - Integrate business workflows into AI experiences - Apply governance and architecture principles to AI systems Qualifications - 3-6+ years of Power Platform & Automation Development experience - Microsoft Copilot Studio / Agent Development Experience - 1+ year - Azure AI & AI Foundations - Technically Strong (2+ years) - Microsoft 365 & Copilot Integration Experience - Customer-Facing Technical Delivery & Engineering Experience Requirements - Hands-on experience building solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse, including real-world automation workflows (not just prototypes) - Experience integrating enterprise systems, APIs, and Microsoft services into scalable automation solutions - Hands-on experience building or configuring Copilot Studio agents, chatbots, or declarative agents for business use cases - Working knowledge of Azure AI services and/or Azure OpenAI, with exposure to building or integrating AI-driven solutions - Experience working with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) in the context of Copilot and automation scenarios - Comfortable leading technical conversations with customers and internal teams to design and deliver automation and agent-based solutions - Experience delivering solutions in a technology consulting or professional services environment is strongly preferred Benefits - Work on cutting-edge AI / Copilot technology - Exposure to enterprise-scale AI implementation - Opportunity to build real agents and automation at scale - Work with a Microsoft-aligned engineering team Work Environment - Fully remote - Highly technical delivery team - Fast-paced, multi-project environment - Minimal onboarding / coaching → must be self-sufficient Interview Information Interview process consists of an initial TEKsystems screening followed by a single panel interview with SHI stakeholders.
