• Architect and engineer scalable, cloud-native SIEM solutions, utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code principles to manage log ingestion pipelines and storage. • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines to ingest, transform, and normalize security logs from diverse endpoints (APIs, cloud platforms, firewalls) into the SIEM, ensuring high data fidelity and low latency. • Write and optimize custom parsers using Regex and scripting languages to map raw log data to standardized security models, ensuring consistent data structures for analysis. • Program custom integrations connecting third-party tools and streaming data sources to the SIEM via REST APIs and webhooks. • Collaborate with DevOps and Application teams to define logging standards and embed security telemetry requirements early in the software development lifecycle (SDLC). • Manage the full lifecycle of the SIEM platform, including health monitoring, troubleshooting ingestion failures, and debugging parsing errors to ensure 24/7 availability. • Proactively analyze ingestion volume against capacity limits to identify optimization opportunities, implementing granular log tuning and exclusion rules that minimize licensing costs and maximize the signal-to-noise ratio • Engineer automated provisioning workflows using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to programmatically manage both the underlying infrastructure and complex IAM policies supporting the security platforms.

• Own the end-to-end architecture for Accela's cloud platform, including Azure infrastructure, networking, Kubernetes, identity, security, and platform services. • Define and maintain platform architecture standards, reference patterns, and technical guardrails to support scalability, reliability, and operational excellence. • Lead architecture reviews and drive technical decision-making through the Architecture Decision Record (ADR) process. • Develop long-term technical strategy for modernization initiatives, including cloud-native transformation, platform consolidation, and infrastructure evolution. • Establish architectural approaches for multi-tenant SaaS environments, including tenant isolation, observability, resiliency, and data residency requirements. • Partner with Engineering, Product, Security, Compliance, and Operations teams to align architecture with business objectives and regulatory requirements. • Translate compliance requirements, including FedRAMP, GovRAMP, PCI-DSS, and SOC2, into scalable technical capabilities and platform controls. • Define target-state architecture for shared services and cross-product capabilities spanning multiple acquired technology platforms. • Govern architecture exceptions and provide guidance on complex technical trade-offs impacting multiple engineering organizations. • Mentor and coach senior engineers, staff engineers, and architects, fostering architectural best practices and technical excellence. • Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to inform platform strategy and future investments.

Role Description Platform Engineers at KUNGFU.AI work alongside Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists on client project teams to design architecture, build infrastructure, and establish frameworks that enable rapid, production-grade iteration. This is an embedded, collaborative role grounded in seamless teamwork — not a siloed advisory function. As a Platform Engineer, you shape how KUNGFU.AI approaches infrastructure as a discipline. You design cross-project platform standards, reference architectures, and reusable patterns that accelerate every engagement. You lead select client projects — building trusted relationships with clients and owning infrastructure strategy with minimal Director of Engineering support. You also begin working cross-functionally with business development, strategy, and marketing teams, contributing to SOW development and advising on feasibility as roadmaps take shape. Your influence extends beyond your own projects to the broader engineering organization.
