Job Description

Finance Director

Unison Consulting

Role Description Shape the financial future of the airports people rely on. As Director of Finance at Unison, you own the answer to whether the money works for every capital program, airline rate negotiation, and bond feasibility study. You'll build the financial models that help airports across the U.S., Canada, South America, and the Caribbean fund terminals, runways, and the infrastructure millions of travelers move through. This role puts you at the center of it. What you'll do - Own and evolve the financial models behind feasibility reports, capital funding analyses, and airline rates & charges. - Review and sharpen the financial analyses that shape airport decisions: rates & charges, lease negotiations, bond feasibility studies, and airport revenues. - Guide the financial analysis powering Airport Master Plans, PFC applications, and CFC studies. - Help grow the practice by spotting new opportunities and shaping RFP responses that bring in the next set of clients. Qualifications - 5+ years in airport finance - you know this industry, not just finance in general. - A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Aviation Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar). A master's degree is a plus, not a must. - Deep command of financial modeling and the analytical toolkit - advanced Excel, statistical methods, and database applications. - The judgment and presence to work directly with senior client executives and earn their trust. - Sharp problem-solving and communication skills - you can turn complex analysis into a clear recommendation, in writing and in the room. Benefits - Real impact on the work and real space for personal growth. - Empowerment to be innovators, reflected in an average employee tenure close to 20 years. - Work alongside principals and senior staff who have held leadership roles at major airports, airlines, and the FAA. - Autonomy to own your analysis and shape how the work gets done. - Guided by principles of Excellence, Passion, Loyalty to Clients, Stewardship, Family, Community, Sustainability, and Inclusion. Compensation $150,000 – $185,000 Physical & Environmental Requirements - Ordinary ambulatory skills to move around the office and visit other locations. - Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate light to medium weights (10-50 pounds). - Good hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and visual acuity for keyboard work and reading technical documentation. - Frequent sitting, reaching with hands and arms, talking, and listening. Equal Opportunity & Accommodations Unison Consulting is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic. Unison Consulting will provide reasonable accommodations in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
