Operations Specialist, Cash Management

• Process domestic and international wire transfers, ACH transactions, check disbursements, and journal entries in accordance with Apex policy and within required processing windows. • Review and validate Letters of Authorization s (LOAs) for journals and disbursements under the guidance of senior team members. • Identify transaction exceptions and escalate to management as appropriate. • Partner with the business (e.g., AML, Legal, and Risk teams) to resolve payment exceptions within required timeframes. • Follow Apex Cash Management SOPs and disbursement policy consistently across all transactions. • Perform self-review of own work prior to submission; participate in team quality review processes as directed. • Assist with the daily completion of supervisory checklist items, ensuring all required tasks, approvals, and signoffs are documented accurately and on time. • Respond to routine and ad hoc requests from clients and internal teams in a timely and professional manner.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in financial services operations; experience in cash management, wire processing, or disbursements preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to process routine cash movement transaction types accurately under supervision.
  • Obtain a passing score on the Securities Industry Essentials® (SIE®) Exam within your first 90 days.
  • Comfortable working U.S. hours (night shift) in a remote environment.
  • Experience at a broker-dealer, clearing firm, or custodian preferred.
  • Familiarity with Apex Clearing systems or equivalent back-office platforms preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and operational reporting tools preferred.
