Title: Part Time Technical Service Farm Operations Worker Location: Franklin County United States Part Time Job Description: JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Now Hiring: Technical Service Farm Operations Worker – Franklin County 4-H Therapeutic Riding Center (Franklin County, PA) The Franklin County 4-H Therapeutic Riding Center is seeking a dependable and skilled Technical Service Farm Operations Worker to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of our farm, equipment, and facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for our horses, riders, and programs. Daily Responsibilities - Mow fields and maintain grounds - Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on tractor - Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on gator/utility vehicle - Repair and maintain fencing as needed - Maintain and repair automatic waterers - Replace light bulbs and perform minor electrical upkeep - Drag and maintain three riding arenas - Drag and maintain turn-out fields - Troubleshoot and repair general facility issues as they arise - Assist during volunteer workdays with setup, projects, and coordination - All other duties as assigned by the Stable Manager, Program Director, or 4-H Youth Development Educator BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
