Inside Sales Manager

• Demonstrating mastery of social selling techniques and tools to reach clients through digital channels sharing information including Labcorp services, web conferences, industry meetings, SME news, etc • Establishing effective sales cadence to achieve objectives and sales plan; creates and follows up on leads • Driving joint targeting with aligned sales Business Development Directors and dedicates prospecting effort in targeted territory to help fill sales funnel • Skilled use of prospecting tools to support prospecting efforts • Building collaborative relationships with clients to grow and expand business relationships • Uncovering client needs by asking bespoke insight questions to intensify the key points and help build custom solutions • Recognizing and introducing opportunities for other business units • Actively gathering intelligence on key competitors • Playing a key role in mentoring and training of new Inside Sales Managers and championing a multitude of best practices that have been consistently successful • Co-calling on accounts with Business Development Directors to promote BU business; providing scientific/technical credibility

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life science or business field
  • 1 or more years experience in central lab services
  • 1 or more years experience in sales
  • 1 or more years experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry in a global organization
  • 1 or more years experience in clinical research
  • Demonstrable experience selling services directly to the pharmaceutical and biotech section with direct interaction with mid-level and executive level decision makers preferably in CRO/Clinical Laboratory Services/Pre-Clinical field
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and build relationships
  • I.T proficiency e.g Microsoft packages and Salesforce
  • Fluency in English, Spanish/German or French are seen as an added value.

Role Description A Technical Inside Sales Specialist plays a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious revenue growth objectives. You will build relationships internally with the Operations Teams, Commercial Proposal Managers, Sales Managers, and Administrators. A certain level of technical knowledge of electrical products and services will be expected. An ability to learn processes quickly and think creatively will be necessary to add value to customers. This position operates in a dynamic environment where it is imperative to be able to organize, prioritize, and have the confidence to respond. While this is a remote position, successful candidates will be located in one of the following states: OH, KY, MA, RI, CT, NH. This role is contributing to the Electrification Services Division in the United States. You will be mainly accountable for: - Penetrating into IB, promoting various upgrades, retrofits, and value-add solutions to the benefit of the customers and ABB. - Understanding the channel strategy and the establishment of related prices, and preparing sales plans, reviewing them, and proposing recovery plan(s) when needed. - Generating service sales leads and developing new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information and through identifying and exploring potential new service portfolios. - Acting as a marketer/salesperson of ABB’s service products and solutions during marketing activities (campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings).
