• Develop high quality design for protection schemes for all kinds of T&D substations, Data Centers, Industrial, BESS applications including one-lines, three-lines, and AC / DC schematics in collaboration with drafters • Provide peer review for other members of the design team to develop P&C designs (protection single line diagram, 3 Line Diagrams, panel general arrangement and schematics, wiring diagrams) • Develop optimized designs with a safety mindset • Coordinate P&C design with Electrical layout engineers and designers, Relay Setting Engineers, site managers, commissioning engineers and field personnel • Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers and review technical documentation related to P&C design • Communicate with Project Engineering Manager or Project P&C lead to resolve technical engineering and design aspects • Perform applicable design calculations required for DC battery and charger sizing, voltage drop calculations, aux AC power design • Create and support development of FAT and SAT procedures • Participate in engineering and constructability reviews of P&C deliverables of own project

Qualifications - Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. - 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience in database engineering in large-scale, enterprise environments. - Deep PostgreSQL expertise including MVCC, transaction management, vacuum mechanics, WAL architecture, advanced query performance tuning, buffer management, and backup/restore. - Experience supporting large-scale, multi-tenant SaaS, PaaS, or cloud infrastructure platforms. - Strong Unix/Linux skills — file system navigation, permissions, process management, performance diagnostics. - Deep understanding of RedHat Linux internals with hands-on expertise diagnosing CPU, memory, and I/O issues at the OS level. - Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Strong problem-solving ability, logical thinking, and a genuine curiosity to understand complex systems end to end. Requirements - Experience with ServiceNow platform, scripting, tuning, and troubleshooting is highly preferred. - Scripting: basic shell scripting, Python, Javascript, Ansible. - Good understanding of schemas, table spaces, indexing, and database performance optimization. - Familiarity or knowledge of CentOS/RedHat operating system. - Formal experience on a DevOps (Kubernetes and CICD pipeline) or Performance or support team supporting a Web-Based application is desired.
