Role Description This position requires passing a ServiceNow background screening, USFedPASS (US Federal Personnel Authorization Screening Standards). This includes a credit check, criminal/misdemeanor check and taking a drug test. Any employment is contingent upon passing the screening. Due to Federal requirements, only US citizens, US naturalized citizens or US Permanent Residents, holding a green card, will be considered. This role includes on-call rotation responsibilities. Team: - Our SWAT (Software Action Team) ensures the production stability of our customer application(s) and infrastructure services from an operations perspective. - Our engineers are responsible for production stability and "champions at all service levels” and act as the last level of support for our customers (internal and external). The ideal candidate for this position is a software engineer with a strong background in database technologies, performance analysis, and strong troubleshooting skills. The candidate must have a passion for chasing issues of complex systems running under dynamic, real-world loads. In this role you will support the infrastructure by learning the platform from end to end. Qualifications - Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. - 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience. - 5+ years of experience supporting or testing large scale web-based distributed applications. - 5+ years of experience on multiple relational databases (especially on Postgres database). - The database experience should include but not limited to MVCC, transaction management, vacuum mechanics, database and query performance tuning, buffer management, WAL architecture, backup/restore etc. - 5+ years of hands-on experience working on a SaaS, PaaS, or Cloud Infrastructure product/solution. - Unix skills: including development, navigation, file manipulation, permissions, searching/finding files and text contents, and administrative actions. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with an aptitude for learning new technologies. - Eagerness to learn everything about the ServiceNow Platform. Requirements - Experience with ServiceNow platform, scripting, tuning, and troubleshooting is highly preferred. - Scripting: basic shell scripting, Python, Javascript, Ansible. - Good understanding of schemas, table spaces, indexing, and database performance optimization. - Familiarity or knowledge of CentOS/RedHat operating system. - Formal experience on a DevOps (Kubernetes and CICD pipeline) or Performance or support team supporting a Web-Based application is desired. • The Senior Packaging Engineer will coordinate the execution and commercialization of innovative packaging solutions across primary, secondary, and tertiary formats. • Focus on commissioning and validating new packaging designs through trials and experiments to support successful launches of Beverage and Core products. • Drive packaging commissioning efforts both independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product Engineering, Project Management, Packaging Quality, and Program Management. • This is a hands-on, high-impact role for an experienced engineer passionate about packaging development and operational excellence. • Onsite commissioning and qualification activities for packaging formats and adjacent systems across various packaging fill processes including Cold Fill, Hot Fill, CSD, HAA, and LAA. • Travel as needed to support project execution and attend technical training opportunities – Minimum 75% to Maximum 100%. • Coordinate multiple projects with varying levels of complexity simultaneously. • Apply analytical tools to diagnose and resolve manufacturing and design related challenges. • Collect, analyze, and present testing data to support project decisions. • Support cross-departmental knowledge transfer of packaging related best practices, root cause analysis, and solutions to quality issues. • Effectively diagnose, interpret, and communicate trial results to various technical and leadership audiences. • Contribute to the development of protocols, process workflows, training and reporting. • Demonstrate functional knowledge of various packaging materials (PET, rPET, HDPE, LLDPE) and packaging processes (Injection Molding, ISBM) along with their beverage applications.

• This position reports to the Senior Manager, Nuclear Fuels and works collaboratively with the Nuclear Fuels leadership team and other organizations within NuScale. • Identify and characterize the full scope of fuels services to be offered — including reload core design, safety analysis, fuel procurement support, and fuel program management — with explicit distinction between services currently available and those under active development. • Interface with business development, contracts, and executive leadership to ensure the fuels program strategy is integrated into broader company commercialization plans. • Propose and evaluate business models for nuclear fuel products and services that align with company strategy and product architecture, including fuel and supply chain considerations that are unique to NuScale. • Develop standard reload core design and safety analysis schedules to support internal resource planning and customer commitment management, accounting for NRC review timelines, fuel fabrication lead times, reload outage windows, and contingencies. • Serve as a technical point of contact for customer discussions related to fuel supply scope, schedule, and engineering services during early program development.
