Role Description Are you a visionary sales executive with a passion for K-12 education policy and the tenacity to win in complex government environments? As VP, State Partnerships at Edmentum, you will set the direction for our state-level go-to-market strategy, forge high-impact relationships with state education agencies and government leaders, and drive the statewide adoption and revenue growth that makes Edmentum the partner of choice for state-funded educational initiatives. In this role you will: - Define and lead a bold state-level sales strategy, leveraging state education agency relationships, cooperative procurement vehicles, and legislative funding opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand Edmentum’s market presence. - Build and sustain high-value government relationships with state superintendents, commissioners, board members, and legislative stakeholders, representing Edmentum at state capitals, national conferences, and key policy forums. - Drive revenue attainment through complex, multi-year state contracts, RFP and bid responses, and cooperative purchasing agreements, maintaining disciplined pipeline management and precise forecasting. - Partner cross-functionally with Advocacy and External Affairs, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align state-level initiatives with enterprise priorities and deliver a seamless customer experience. - Leverage CRM, pipeline analytics, and performance data to drive operational excellence and strategic decision-making across the state partnerships function. - Monitor state education policy trends and translate market intelligence into actionable opportunities that strengthen Edmentum’s position in the government education sector. Qualifications - Deep knowledge of K-12 education policy, state agency structures, and government procurement processes, including RFPs, cooperative purchasing, and state and federal funding mechanisms. - Proven track record in public sector or government-facing sales, with demonstrated success closing complex, multi-year state contracts and managing significant revenue targets. - Ability to build executive-level government relationships and navigate legislative and policy environments with credibility and influence. - Strategic thinker with strong financial acumen and the ability to translate policy trends and market signals into revenue opportunities. - Outstanding communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to represent Edmentum compellingly in high-stakes public sector environments. - Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and execute consistently against ambitious targets in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization. - Proficient in CRM platforms and pipeline analytics tools, leading with data. - Committed to inclusion, ethical business practices, and Edmentum’s mission to improve outcomes for all students. - Bachelor’s degree in education, public policy, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience), with at least 10 years of progressive sales or business development experience, including 5 or more years in a senior leadership capacity; government or public sector education sales experience is strongly preferred. - Willingness to travel as needed, including visits to state capitals, conferences, and customer sites. - Willingness to take on evolving responsibilities based on business needs. Role Description We are seeking a VP GBS Customer Admin & Operation to build and lead in scope Quote-to-Cash operations, to ensure reliable and consistent service delivery across all in-scope processes. The role will shape operating model, service scope, governance, and ways of working within GBS.
