Experienced MCE Wind Technician

• Support lifting operations of equipment at heights over 250’. • May be required to oversee lifting operations following skills verification of large components and ability to create, review, correct, and amend lifting plans. • Conduct safe and efficient repairs to all Wind Turbine electrical systems. • Operate under properly performed Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) conditions and possibly as an Authorized Person. • Conduct pre-task planning, Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs), and Risk Assessments (RAs), and daily safety discussions. • Interact with vendors and customers in a professional manner. • Properly document all work in a variety of electronic formats and provide feedback to the Safety and Quality department for business improvements.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of direct product experience on one or more platforms.
- Direct turbine specific experience is required.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics by various Wind Turbine manufacturers.
- Main Component Exchange (MCE) experience required with additional knowledge in lifting operations.
- Hold specific turbine manufacture certifications.
- Detailed knowledge and skill in generators, converters, controllers, and electrical equipment.
- Ability to recognize potential issues and major faults.
- Must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English to safely perform job duties, interpret technical instructions, and communicate effectively with team members and customers. Interpreter services are not available for this position.

Role Description We keep people moving when their plans are disrupted. This role is for experienced vehicle technicians who like variety, autonomy and being the person who makes the call at the roadside. You’ll start and finish from home, run your day from a fully equipped van, and use your diagnostic skills and judgement to get customers safely back on the road or arrange recovery when that’s the right choice. Role Description The Soft Serve Technician will be responsible for maintaining the soft serve equipment at their respective store locations. The shift will begin when one has arrived at the store locations and will end when they leave that location. Essential Functions - Perform tasks as listed at one location per day, on the same day of the week, at five locations per week. - Weekly complete breakdown of soft serve machines including cleaning, reassembly, sanitation, and start-up of soft serve machines. - Weekly complete breakdown of misty machines including cleaning, reassembly, sanitation, and start-up of misty machines. - Assuring there are people trained at the store level to properly sanitize the soft serve machines between technician visits. - Maintain an inventory of soft serve and misty machine parts at each store location. - Maintain weed and litter control within landscaping and parking lot areas. - May also be asked to help in areas of power washing, window cleaning and/or other areas as needed. - Communicate issues and leave visit report with the person in charge at the store after each visit is complete. - Help operations in a Team Member capacity over the noon/lunch hours if and as needed. - Perform physical functions that include but are not limited to: - Standing, Sitting, Walking, Bending, Twisting, Kneeling and Climbing - Reaching, Lifting (0-50 lbs.), Carrying (0-50 lbs.), Grasping - Repetitive Motion - Work as a “team” member to assure consistent customer satisfaction. • Provide technical support to resolve network performance issues and contribute to outage resolution efforts • Manage smaller projects or project segments, delivering accurate status and progress updates as required • Identify and recommend process improvements related to maintenance and repair activities to senior staff and management • Assist in developing job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation in collaboration with senior technicians • Complete required training to maintain current knowledge of systems, products, and organizational standards • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
