Role Description This role bridges the gap between creative design concepts and the final development phase. You'll support the lead design team throughout the concepting, review, and approval process, then take finalized visual layouts, optimize them, and translate them into organized, developer-ready assets and workspaces. This is not a hands-on coding role, but it does require a deep understanding of how web dev teams build websites and digital products - primarily in WordPress (and similar) environments. What You'll Do - Support the lead design team: as concepts solidify, build out supporting variations, versions, or alternates, weighing complexity against what can reasonably be achieved in web. - Incorporate revisions: refine existing layouts based on internal design team or client feedback, providing client-ready assets and email-friendly documentation as needed. - Dev-prep & optimize assets: convert design visuals into pixel-perfect, web-optimized assets, formats (SVG, WebP, PNG), and design components. - Manage design workspaces: organize and prepare Figma files for developer handoff - auto-layout, components, styles, and tidy naming conventions for layers and assets - including updates to internal Figma templates and knowledge-base docs when needed. - Jump into Adobe CC only when needed: use Photoshop or Illustrator to touch up, crop, optimize, or format imagery when Figma's quality or tools fall short (not heavy photo retouching). - Provide dev-ready assets: ensure all spacing, layouts, and exportable layers are clearly structured so developers can inspect and pull assets seamlessly. - Collaborate (mostly async): stay aligned with the creative and development teams via Slack, screencasts, bi-weekly Zoom team syncs, and project-management tasks. - Work with everyone: on a small team, you'll occasionally join client-facing meetings supporting the lead designer and/or project manager, and collaborate with the dev team during prep and QC. Qualifications - 2–4 years of experience in a production design, web production, or digital design role - Strong Figma skills (primary tool) - highly organized workspaces and command of design & developer tools, components, and variables - Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator for occasional asset prep, cropping, and web exports when Figma's tools fall short (not heavy photo retouching) - A strong grasp of web design constraints & best practices (web-first, not print-focused): responsive grids, fluid layouts, screen resolutions, and asset compression - Excellent communication & time-management skills to thrive in a remote environment - clear documentation and clear questions on Slack or project tickets - An online portfolio showcasing clean design files, digital assets, or live web project examples - Reliable availability during U.S. business hours (specific hours flexible, as long as they're communicated)

Role Description We are looking for a Senior Web Designer who serves as an architect of our digital presence, someone who combines high-level creative vision with a deep understanding of performance marketing and technical web standards. You possess a critical eye for UX/UI, a passion for data-informed design, and the ability to steer complex projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This is a hands-on position focused on setting the standard for our digital excellence. You will deliver high-fidelity, scalable web solutions for our global markets, leveraging your understanding of UX trends and audience behavior to ensure our digital presence is both flexible and consistent. As a core member of the Brand Design team, you will elevate and evolve our visual identity across all digital experiences. You will act as a brand guardian, ensuring that every touchpoint adheres to global standards while actively pushing the quality of our creative output to the next level. Beyond crafting visually compelling digital experiences, you are a strategic partner, eager to mentor others, provide constructive critique, and ensure every web initiative is grounded in business logic and scalable systems. You will collaborate closely with marketing specialists and engineering teams, translating business goals into performant, conversion-focused digital solutions. You will own the design lifecycle for landing pages, web experiences, digital campaigns, and email communication, ensuring every interaction is optimized for both brand impact and technical performance. As a senior contributor, you will independently manage stakeholder relationships, prioritize competing technical and creative demands, and drive cross-functional workflows that elevate the design maturity of the entire team. Key Responsibilities - Strategic vision: Translate complex business objectives into scalable digital strategies. You define the "why" behind the design, ensuring every web and email initiative aligns with long-term brand equity and conversion goals. - Systems architecture: Lead the evolution of our design system and email master templates. You don’t just maintain them; you architect their future, overseeing complex component hierarchies, design tokens, and modular frameworks that serve as the single source of truth for global teams. - Technical leadership: Act as the lead designer for our engineering squads. You’ll set the standards for technical feasibility and best practices in performance, accessibility, and responsiveness, while delivering precise, developer-ready assets to ensure a seamless build. - Cross-functional advocacy: Lead the design process from ideation to launch, partnering closely with engineering to ensure the final build remains true to our brand standards for visual and functional quality through rigorous pre- and post-launch reviews. - Performance optimization: Influence digital performance of web and email communication by balancing high-fidelity creative output with rigorous optimization standards (file size, loading speed, SEO), ensuring our digital touchpoints are as performant as they are visually engaging. - Collaboration & mentorship: Provide guidance, feedback, and inspiration to your colleagues. - AI innovation & prototyping: Proactively integrate AI image generation and rapid prototyping tools (e.g. Magnific, Figma AI Suite, Claude) into the design workflow to accelerate ideation, streamline visual asset creation, and enhance overall team agility. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Communications, or related field - Portfolio demonstrating exceptional brand identity, interactive web design, and high-performance creative work. - Proven track record of creating high-converting websites, digital campaigns, and scalable landing page systems. - Solid professional experience in Web & Digital Design, ideally in tech, startups, or agile agency environments. - Expert proficiency in Figma (Auto Layout, Variables, Libraries) and scalable design patterns. - Experience using AI tools (image generation, rapid prototyping) to enhance design workflows and proactively identify new opportunities. - Deep understanding of HTML/CSS constraints, fluid responsive behavior, mobile performance optimization (speed, compression), and accessibility standards. - Ability to map user flows to business goals and teams targets. - Experience ensuring the holistic, consistent application of brand standards and guidelines across all digital and design touchpoints. - Proactive approach to identifying UX friction and driving data-driven, systemic improvements. - Strong understanding of marketing and web metrics (CTR, conversion rates, engagement) with a proven ability to interpret analytics and translate insights into actionable design improvements. - An inspiring portfolio demonstrating a proven track record of designing high-converting landing pages, microsites, and digital advertising assets for a global enterprise. - Experience designing for dark mode, building modular templates, and navigating email client limitations (Outlook, Gmail) within CRMs and marketing automation platforms like HubSpot. - Hands-on experience designing and staging assets within marketing platforms like HubSpot or brand management platforms like Frontify. - Strong stakeholder management skills; able to bridge the gap with engineering, prioritize workflows, and meet tight deadlines under pressure and without supervision. - Fluent in English and Portuguese, with professional experience designing for global markets. Additional Information - Employment type: Temporary full-time contract (8 month) - with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role, depending on business needs and performance; - Remote role based in Brazil; - Working hours: Monday to Friday; Occasional flexibility in working hours is required to support collaboration across European time zones.
