Associate Staff Engineer, Workday HCM Integration Consultant

• Develop, implement, maintain, and support Workday HCM integrations with enterprise and third-party applications • Build and support integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Benefits Connectors, PECI, Workday Studio, and Document Transformation • Configure and maintain Workday Business Processes and support ongoing functional enhancements • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday Reports and BIRT reports • Manage onboarding content, questionnaires, templates, and other Workday configuration activities • Configure and support Workday security roles, domains, and user access • Provide functional and technical support for Workday CD and related business processes • Handle day-to-day Workday CD support activities, including issue resolution and operational support • Create, manage, and maintain JIRA tickets for sprint planning, task tracking, and progress reporting • Support ongoing Workday CD activities such as billability mapping, notification emails, NES changes, and other operational processes • Perform background corrections, data fixes, and issue resolution to ensure system accuracy and stability • Collaborate with business stakeholders, implementation partners, and internal IT teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions • Manage incidents, service requests, and change requests through ITSM processes while ensuring SLA compliance • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, knowledge articles, and operational runbooks • Stay current with Workday product updates and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and business processes
Job Requirements
- Total experience 4+ years
- Hands-on experience in Workday HCM integration development, configuration, and production support
- Experience developing and supporting integrations using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Benefits Connectors, Payroll Effective Change Interface (PECI), Workday Studio, and Document Transformation
- Knowledge of Workday Business Process configuration and support
- Functional understanding of Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Recruiting, Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Employee Management, and Learning Management System (LMS)
- Experience developing and supporting Workday Reports and BIRT reports
- Experience uploading and managing Workday content such as questionnaires, onboarding documents, and templates
- Knowledge of Workday security roles, domains, and security profiles
- Understanding of Workday CD functionality and support processes
- Experience with ITSM tools and ticket management processes
- Familiarity with JIRA for sprint planning, task tracking, and issue management
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, implementation partners, and cross-functional IT teams
- Workday certification is preferred
- Willingness to work in the 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM IST or 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM IST shift to support US business hours
