Role Description USA TODAY Supply Corporation is seeking a Senior Analyst, Strategic Sourcing to support raw material planning, purchasing, supplier coordination, and customer service across the organization. In this role, you will analyze business needs and market conditions, develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and help ensure timely, cost-effective access to critical materials. - Analyze companywide and customer raw material needs, including demand trends, inventory requirements, supplier availability, and market conditions. - Develop and execute purchasing strategies that align with business priorities, supplier contracts, allocation requirements, pricing considerations, and inventory targets. - Manage raw material ordering activity and coordinate with internal sites, suppliers, and business partners to support accurate and timely fulfillment. - Serve as a trusted point of contact for customers and suppliers by investigating issues, identifying root causes, and driving practical solutions. - Prepare and share relevant customer updates, including market insights, supply availability, sourcing developments, and other key information. - Contribute to sourcing initiatives that improve efficiency, strengthen supplier partnerships, and support more effective use of company resources. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required. - At least 3 years of relevant professional experience required. - Experience in sourcing, procurement, customer service, business systems, accounting, or a related field preferred. - Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal leaders, field teams, suppliers, customers, and external business partners. - Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage a high-volume workload, shifting priorities, and time-sensitive decisions. Requirements - This position requires strong judgment, discretion, and accountability. - The Senior Analyst will work with confidential supplier contracts, pricing information, and purchasing records, and will be responsible for negotiating and placing high-value orders. - The role operates with limited supervision and requires flexibility to manage fluctuating business needs. - Occasional travel may be required.
