Earthworks
Role Description Earthworks is hiring a Human Resources (HR) Fellow. The purpose of this fellowship is to provide an opportunity for candidates from historically marginalized backgrounds and communities to gain work experience in the environmental advocacy space. Recent graduates and entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. This is a temporary position with an anticipated October 2026 start date. The Fellow will work full-time (40 hours per week) for five months, from October 5, 2026 through March 5, 2027. This position reports to the Director of Talent and Equity. Operating as a HR generalist, the HR Fellow handles a wide variety of human resources tasks across the entire employee lifecycle, including but not limited to: - Assisting with the recruitment and hiring process - Employee onboarding/offboarding - Benefits administration - Record maintenance - HR compliance - Policy implementation - Employee relations - HR communications The ideal candidate is a people-first problem solver who is passionate about Earthworks’ mission and eager to support the dedicated team of staff that works in service towards that mission.
