Community Development Manager

Metronet

• Responsible for seeking out new residential sales opportunities for Metronet across multiple markets and states. • Identifying, coordinating, and implementing market development plans designed to maintain and increase residential sales opportunities. • Securing new opportunities through the development of relationships with residential housing contractors, single family Homeowner Associations, and Utility Companies. • Working with internal Community Development Operations, Outside Plant, and Residential Sales teams to maintain timeline and schedule for efficient delivery of services. • Conducting in-depth research and analysis of territory, including competitive landscape. • Negotiating with developers, builders, city contacts, and Homeowner Associations to secure necessary agreements. • Utilizing multiple resources to evaluate residential growth opportunities. • Executing concept to completion to secure new residential customers through various projects. • Collaborating with Finance, Marketing, and Legal to develop revenue opportunities. • Using company provided CRM software to manage and maintain pipeline and projects. • Maintaining existing and developing new relationships with local organizations to increase Metronet's footprint.

Job Requirements

  • 4-year college degree in business, or related experience
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing
  • Working knowledge and experience with Access Laws, rules, and FCC requirements (Inside Wiring Rules) required
  • Documented experience working and communicating with C-Suite
  • Valid driver's license/satisfactory driving record
  • Willingness to work as a team and independently.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications required, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skill both verbally and in writing to all levels of the organization internally and externally
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities
  • Must be detail oriented & maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Prior experience in operations, marketing, or other aspects of the real-estate industry experience preferred
  • Available to travel for training or as needed.
