• Design, build, and support learning systems application development and 3rd party product integrations • Provide specific 3rd tier support for learning system applications • Provide daily status reports to supervisor in the Information Technology (IT) department • Develop and manage effective working relationships with other departments, groups, and personnel • Develop, test, document, and implement high quality learning system applications on time according to specifications • Analyze performance of programs and correct deficiencies • Develop and adhere to development standards for maintainability of code • Participate in the modification of software applications or architecture for issue resolution and future growth • Participate in code reviews and meetings as necessary • Attend daily stand-ups to provide status reports for current projects • Meet professional obligations with efficient work habits, meeting deadlines, and coordinating resources and meetings
Job Requirements
- Associate Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 3-5 years’ developing in Node.js (TypeScript and Express)
- 3-5 years’ developing with Angular or React
- 3-5 years’ MySQL and/or other relational database experience
- 3-5 years’ MongoDB and/or other NoSQL database experience
- 3-5 years’ Unix experience, RedHat Linux (or derivatives), preferred
- 3-5 years’ developing enterprise-wide software solutions, preferred
- 3-5 years’ developing and delivering custom business computer applications, preferred
- Experience in web servers (Apache and IIS), preferred
- 1-3 years’ Experience in command line usage (Bash, zsh, etc), preferred
- Experience in Business Intelligence, Big Data, or analytics, preferred
