Job Description
Working Student – Innovation & Venture Clienting
New Ventures
• Venture Clienting Startup Scouting & Analysis: You identify relevant startups, technologies, and trends — through databases, events, networks, and competitive analysis. You assess them for potential partnerships within our venture clienting approach and connect directly with founding teams. • Innovation Research & Market Analysis: You support the analysis of pain points and automation potential in close collaboration with various REHAU business units. • Venture Clienting Process: You are an active part of the operational process — from the initial scouting idea to the final use case. You accompany proof-of-concept phases and help test solutions under real-world conditions. • AI Enablement Requirements Analysis & Use Case Identification: You analyze AI requirements from REHAU Group's business units and help identify and sharpen concrete use cases. • Technology Research: You evaluate current AI technologies and tools, assessing what's relevant for REHAU — and whether a need is best addressed with existing tools, custom prompting, or an external solution (startup). • Knowledge Transfer & Enablement: You contribute to designing and running training formats (workshops, trainings, etc.) and help upskill colleagues in AI — inspiring them and activating them as AI ambassadors. • Cross-functional Workshops & Events: You support the conceptual and organizational preparation, execution, and follow-up of workshops and meetings with internal stakeholders and external startups. • Business Cases & Project Support: You create presentations, market analyses, and decision papers for internal and external stakeholders — and help translate ideas into well-founded business cases. • Portfolio & Data Management: You maintain and develop our startup, use case, and project database, ensuring all relevant information stays up to date.
Job Requirements
- You're currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business, Business Informatics, Innovation, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- You have hands-on experience in the startup world — whether through your own venture, an internship, a working student role, an accelerator, or a VC/investment environment.
- AI isn't just a buzzword to you: You've been actively and regularly using tools like ChatGPT and others for at least two years, you know how to apply them meaningfully, and you never stop asking questions.
- You think analytically and can translate requirements into actionable solutions.
- You're fluent in both German and English and communicate clearly — even when the topic gets complex.
- You work in a structured and independent manner and can quickly get up to speed in new contexts.
- Variety drives you: No two days look the same — and that's exactly what motivates you.
- You take ownership , bring your own ideas to the table, and don't just want to be part of the team — you want to genuinely shape things.
- Want to use this role for your thesis? Absolutely, we're on board.
Benefits
- Real impact: You work on topics that feed directly into REHAU Group's core business — both in startup collaboration and AI transformation.
- Flexible hours: We schedule your hours around your studies, not the other way around.
- Startup network: You gain direct insight into the world of founders and innovation partners.
- Cutting-edge technology: You work with the latest AI tools, LLMs, and innovation methodologies — and actively shape how they're adopted across the company.
- Remote first: Work from Hamburg or flexibly from anywhere in Germany. On-site in Hamburg? Even better.
