JOB SUMMARY: The Media Buyer - Paid Social role leads buying and campaign management of Paid Social Media advertising on platforms deemed relevant for the business in domestic markets for theme parks and internal clients/business units (Resorts, Sales, B2B, etc.) in collaboration with the Paid Social Media Manager. The Media Buyer - Paid Social owns vendor communications and negotiates best placements for their respective campaigns. They are responsible for the perfect management and execution of their assigned campaigns including budgeting, setup, tracking and optimizing. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: - Execute media buys accurately and completely within the Paid Social channel. Maintain day-to-day vendor/partner relationships including weekly check-ins and regular communication. Monitor, analyze and optimize the performance of the campaigns in-market. - Make any necessary updates recommended in partnership with the Paid Social leader and Media Analytics. Complete weekly campaign activity reports/analysis, reconciles and manages media budgets on a daily basis. - Support relationships leveraging email, Teams and Workfront with other departments and groups within - Destination - Legal - License Partners - Project Managers - Creative - Content & Creative Strategy Integrated Marketing Communications - Social Media - Direct Digital Media - Universal Vacations - Resort Marketing - Sales/B2B - Provide new ideas to support business strategies and goals. Collaborate with Paid Social team and Paid Social vendors to stay on current industry trends and media opportunities. - Collaborate with Paid Social leader and team to develop both campaign-specific and an overarching annual plan. Partner across buying teams to ensure driving efficiencies within campaigns and delivering maximum ROI. - Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities. - Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field. EXPERIENCE: - 2+ years of media buying experience, with 1+ year of experience in Paid Social media buying specifically, or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Experience managing high annual ad budgets is a plus.
