Role Description At The Collective—the strategic, creative and production agency within BCD Meetings & Events—we believe in the power of human connection. Moments that audiences remember, cherish, and share. We are looking for an Art Director to join our dynamic creative team at The Collective. In this role, you’ll lead the visual direction for events and campaigns, turning client goals into standout experiences that connect with audiences. You’ll partner closely with the Creative Director, graphic designers, project managers, and client stakeholders to bring concepts to life from kickoff through execution. If you love smart design, strong collaboration, and making big ideas feel real, you’ll fit right in. As an Art Director, you will: - Help oversee creative campaign projects from end to end. - Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand event objectives and project scope. - Oversee the creation and execution of event collateral, including signage, print materials and digital communications. - Provide art direction and guidance to graphic design and copywriter team. - Lead brainstorming sessions and ideation to generate innovative design and creative solutions. - Collaborate closely with Creative Director and Graphic Designers to ensure campaign deliverables are high-quality and aligned with client expectations and objectives. - Attend client meetings and presentations to articulate creative concepts and design choices. - Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and budget. - Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in event design and execution. - Travel when needed to meet with clients, conduct onsite inspections, oversee installations, and support/attend events. Qualifications - A degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience as an Art Director or in a similar creative role, preferably within an events agency or related industry. - A strong portfolio that shows concept development, campaign thinking, and polished execution. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software. - Understanding of print production processes and vendor management. - A portfolio showcasing previous design work is required. We work in the Central or Eastern Time zone. - Our standard working hours are 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM with an hour-long break. Role Description The adjunct faculty members of Colorado Mountain College are here to assist students in their learning process by utilizing all appropriate staff resources, materials, facilities, and educational technologies available which complement the teaching process. The faculty members need to be committed to facilitating learning throughout our communities. Although teaching is the most important role of the faculty, the needs of our learners are also served when faculty are engaged in scholarly endeavors as well as service activities. The college seeks innovative facilitators of learning who are active in the art of teaching and passionate about extending academic opportunities to all students. Colorado Mountain College is an institution offering associate and bachelor’s degrees with a focus on positive classroom experiences and excellent outcomes for all students. CMC does not conduct research but instead focuses on excellence in teaching and learning in diverse classroom settings and programs. Successful candidates will demonstrate a passion for dynamic classroom experiences and excellent academic opportunities and student support. Qualifications - A minimum of a master’s degree in a specific degree for the position being recruited or a Master’s Degree with a minimum of 18 graduate credits in a specifically related field (e.g., business, finance, management, marketing, or related fields). - Minimum of one-year full-time teaching experience, or the equivalent as an adjunct instructor.
