Role Description The Account Manager (Junior) is a critical early-career development role designed to build the next generation of commercial talent within Isola. This position focuses on developing foundational sales, technical, and customer-facing capabilities while gaining exposure to the company’s products, markets, and industry dynamics. Working under the guidance of a Senior Account Manager, the role combines structured learning with hands-on experience, including management of a small portfolio of developing customer accounts. The position supports account execution, day-to-day customer engagement, and cross-functional coordination, while progressively building toward greater ownership and commercial responsibility. This role serves as an important link between customers and internal teams, ensuring clear communication, responsiveness, and alignment to customer needs. Over time, the individual is expected to expand their scope, deepen industry knowledge, and transition into broader account ownership as part of a defined career progression. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree (Laurea Triennale) in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field required - 0-2 years of experience in sales, account management, or related commercial/technical roles (internships or relevant experience acceptable) - Fluency in Italian and English required - German language skills ideal - Willingness to travel domestically and within Europe (approximately 20–30%) Requirements - Manage a small portfolio of low-complexity or developing customer accounts with guidance from a Senior Account Manager - Support delivery of revenue targets for assigned accounts and contribute to overall regional sales goals - Maintain accurate CRM data, including customer activity, opportunities, and forecasts - Assist in preparing quotes, tracking orders, and supporting basic commercial activities - Act as a day-to-day contact for assigned customers on routine topics (orders, status updates, basic inquiries) - Build working relationships with customer contacts and support ongoing account engagement - Develop understanding of customer needs, applications, and business processes - Capture and share customer feedback with internal teams - Work with inside sales, technical service, and supply chain teams to support customer requirements - Coordinate responses to customer inquiries and ensure timely follow-up - Support resolution of routine customer issues related to delivery, quality, or service - Support the introduction of products within assigned accounts through customer follow-up and coordination - Assist in gathering customer input for product development and improvements - Participate in customer discussions related to product usage and applications - Support the execution of account plans developed by Senior Account Managers - Identify basic growth opportunities within assigned accounts and escalate as appropriate - Gain exposure to account planning, pricing, and commercial decision-making processes - Assist with order tracking, demand alignment, and communication of customer requirements - Support coordination of urgent orders and basic forecasting activities - Learn processes related to planning, inventory, and customer supply requirements - Partner with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries and issues - Communicate status updates clearly to customers and internal stakeholders - Escalate more complex issues to senior team members - Participate in customer meetings and internal reviews to build commercial and technical knowledge - Support preparation for customer visits, presentations, and reviews - Follow company policies related to pricing, commercial terms, and customer interactions - Escalate risks or concerns related to customer satisfaction or account performance Company Description
