Role Description We’re looking for a VP, Product Data to define how product telemetry is captured, modelled, and turned into trusted, governed data products. You’ll go beyond traditional product analytics—owning the telemetry strategy, establishing shared data models across a multi-product portfolio, and enabling both internal decision-making and customer-facing insights. Qualifications - 5+ years in product data, product analytics, or analytics engineering in a SaaS/tech environment - Experience defining product instrumentation and telemetry architecture at scale - Experience building or owning event pipelines (first-party telemetry preferred) - Strong partnership with Product and Engineering on metrics and measurement - Experience creating governed, reusable data assets from product data - Hands-on experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake) - Strong SQL and Python skills across data pipelines and analysis - Experience leading small, high-performing teams - Strong communication skills and ability to influence across technical and business stakeholders Requirements - Experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Pendo, Gainsight PX) - Experience with AI/ML applied to product or behavioural data - Experience measuring non-traditional product interactions (e.g., accessibility tools) - Experience delivering customer-facing analytics or usage insights - Experience working across multi-product or M&A environments - Experience building internal data products (datasets, APIs, feature stores) - Familiarity with embedding data into product development workflows - Background in EdTech, assistive technology, or mission-driven organisations
