Sr. Software Engineer

As a Sr. Software Engineer at Bloomerang you will function as the technical lead, and act as a driving force behind our mission to empower nonprofits. You don’t just write code; you shape the technical direction of our platform, working at the intersection of Product, QA, and Engineering to deliver high-impact SaaS solutions. You are a leader who thrives in an agile environment, embraces the future of AI-driven development, and enjoys mentoring a high performing team of Software Engineers. Own the technical vision and direction for your domain, ensuring the team builds solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architectural guidance. Diagnose and resolve complex technical bottlenecks, leveraging deep knowledge of debugging tools to maintain the performance of our SaaS applications. Champion Agile ceremonies and workflows, ensuring iterative delivery, high velocity, and continuous improvement within the sprint cycle. Conduct rigorous code reviews in adherence to coding standards, to catch potential bugs and provide constructive feedback to elevate the team's standards. Embed AI responsibly into your team's workflow by using AI tools to enhance development productivity, code analysis, and technical problem-solving. Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, helping them develop deeper technical skills, architectural thinking, and ownership mindset.
Job Requirements
- A deep mastery of .NET and C#
- Modern Frontend experience with JavaScript, React or TypeScript
- Architectural depth with a proven track record of building and consuming REST APIs
- An "Ops Mindset" with professional experience in CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment
- A commitment to excellence in technical execution and continuous learning
- A sense of accountability for code quality outcomes
- Scalable systems thinking with experience in code review processes and automation
- Strategic partnership with Product teams for robust solution design
- Technological versatility in frameworks, languages, and databases
- An AI-forward mindset to explore and integrate AI tools
- Nice to Haves But Not Required:
- Experience with AWS and Docker
- Knowledge of NestJS, Microservices, or event-driven frameworks like Kafka
- Experience integrating with MailChimp, ConstantContact, or QuickBooks Online (QBO)

- Compensation
- The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $155,000. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws.
- Location
- This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position (within the U.S. and select Canadian Provinces only). Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.

• Generate sales opportunities by researching, qualifying, establishing contacts and engaging in qualification meetings with appropriate personas at target accounts. • Build target account profiles by researching and adding target personas to Salesforce. Master messaging by persona and their critical issues to effectively position our solution. • Implement multi-channel outbound activities, representing ServiceChannel’s solutions in a highly professional manner to qualify and schedule meetings and generate sales accepted leads. • Log, track and maintain outbound activities in accordance with sales processes and methodologies in Salesforce.com. • Able to handle objections and educate prospects in a consultative manner.
