The EHS Business Intelligence Manager is responsible for the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of safety management systems and data-driven EHS initiatives across the enterprise. This role plays a critical part in advancing safety performance by transforming data into actionable insights, driving accountability, and enabling informed decision-making at all levels of the organization. This position leads to the evolution and effectiveness of key programs such as DriveSafe and enterprise driver safety initiatives, including oversight of driver scorecards, performance tracking, and reporting. By leveraging analytics, trends, and predictive insights, the EHS Business Intelligence Manager identifies risks, measures program effectiveness, and helps prioritize actions to reduce incidents and improve overall safety outcomes. Partnering closely with EHS, operations, and business leaders, this role ensures alignment between safety systems, reporting tools, and organizational goals. The position also supports the design and implementation of new EHS initiatives, enhances reporting capabilities, and drives consistency and standardization across the business. Success in this role requires strong analytical expertise, a strategic mindset, and the ability to communicate complex data in a clear and impactful way. The EHS Business Intelligence Manager serves as a key enabler of a proactive, data-informed safety culture focused on continuous improvement, operational excellence, and care for people. PRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITES• Safety Management System (SMS) Leadership: Lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the EHS safety management system to ensure accuracy, usability, and alignment with enterprise standards.• Program Oversight - DriveSafe: Manage and advance the DriveSafe program, ensuring effective implementation, performance tracking, and continuous enhancement to reduce driver risk.• Driver Scorecard & Performance Analytics: Oversee driver scorecard development, reporting, and analysis to drive accountability, identify trends, and improve overall fleet safety performance.• Data Analytics & Reporting: Develop and deliver standardized and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and insights to support decision-making, highlight risks, and measure program effectiveness.• Project Management Execution: Lead and manage EHS-related projects from initiation through completion, including scope definition, timeline management, stakeholder alignment, and execution tracking to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with EHS, operations, IT, and leadership teams to align reporting tools, systems, and initiatives with business goals.• Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identify opportunities to enhance systems, processes, and reporting capabilities using data-driven insights and industry best practices.• Data Governance & Integrity: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of EHS data across systems, including establishing standards and auditing processes.• Technology & Systems Enhancement: Support the implementation and optimization of EHS technologies, tools, and platforms to improve user experience and efficiency.• Stakeholder Communication & Influence: Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for leadership and frontline teams to drive engagement and informed decision-making.• Training & Enablement: Provide guidance and training to users on EHS systems, reporting tools, and program expectations to increase adoption and effectiveness.• Regulatory & Compliance Support: Ensure systems and reporting align with regulatory requirements and support internal and external audit readiness. Required Experience & Specialized Knowledge and skills - Bachelor's degree and 6 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field - Experience supporting EHS programs within a large company environment. - Experience leading projects and a strong understanding of technology systems and data analytics. - Strong interpersonal skills that foster team building and "buy-in" of new initiatives and goals at all levels of the organization. - Experience with Benchmark/Gensuite. - Demonstrated experience gathering requirements and facilitating sessions. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently. - Experience with computer systems and data analysis. - Ability to drive programs and improvements across a matrix organization. - Experience with data analysis and visualization and familiar with databases, data structure, and queries. USD 101,500.00 - 169,100.00 per year Compensation: Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $101,500.00 - $169,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program. Benefits: The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
