Design Project Manager
Ehvert Mission Critical
• Lead multidisciplinary design teams consisting of Electrical, Mechanical, ICT, Structural, BIM/VDC, and Architectural professionals on complex data center projects. • Manage all phases of project delivery from proposal development and project kickoff through design completion and construction support. • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong long-term relationships throughout the project lifecycle. • Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocations. • Monitor project financial performance including fee utilization, forecasts, invoicing, and change management. • Facilitate project meetings, design reviews, and coordination activities across multiple disciplines and stakeholders. • Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution. • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project objectives. • Ensure deliverables comply with internal QA/QC standards, client requirements, and industry best practices. • Support business development activities including proposals, fee estimates, project planning, and client presentations. • Mentor project teams and promote collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence across disciplines.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or another related technical discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of project management experience in engineering, architecture, or design consulting environments.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary design teams on mission-critical, data center, or other highly technical infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated success managing project scope, schedules, budgets, and client relationships.
- Experience delivering projects through all phases of design and construction support.
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and mission-critical environments, electrical distribution and critical power systems, mechanical cooling systems and HVAC infrastructure, ICT and low-voltage systems, BIM and multidisciplinary design coordination processes
- Experience with Revit, ACC / BIM 360, Revizto, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, other project management and collaboration platforms
- Authorization to work in Canada
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering hyperscale or enterprise data center projects.
- Professional Engineer (PEng) license, or Registered Architect designation, or Professional Engineer (PE) PMP certification.
- Experience working in BIM and VDC environments.
- Experience managing multiple large projects simultaneously.

Your primary objective will be to support our customers’ needs by providing them with accurate and timely quotes that align with their project requirements and ensure successful project outcomes. - Prepare detailed and accurate quotes for aluminum storefront systems and interior glass walls/entrances based on architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents: - Aluminum Storefront Estimating - Analyze customer-provided specifications to determine proper storefront system type, framing dimensions, glass make-up, and hardware requirements. - Coordinate with aluminum system suppliers to obtain pricing and confirm system compatibility. - Identify fabrication requirements and installation considerations that impact labor and cost. - Glass & Glazing Estimating (Interior Systems) - Analyze customer-provided specifications to determine required hardware packages, glass types, edgework, finishes, and specialty components. - Coordinate with hardware system suppliers to obtain pricing and confirm system compatibility. - Identify fabrication requirements and installation considerations that impact labor and cost. - Develop estimates for customers that meet company standards for profitability, accuracy, and scope clarity. - Deliver excellent customer service by understanding product needs, delivering timely and accurate quotes, following up on customer orders and vendor purchase orders, addressing any issues, and ensuring orders are fulfilled correctly and timely. - Develop and maintain organized project files, quote worksheets, vendor quotes, and customer orders.
