Bilingual Talent Acquisition Advisor
Giant Tiger
• Create strategic recruitment plans in partnership with hiring managers and business leaders to ensure timely fulfillment of talent needs. • Manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles across Giant Tiger's Home Office, Distribution Centres, and leadership development programs. • Support hiring for the Franchisee In Training (FIT) Program, helping identify and attract future Giant Tiger store leaders. • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to understand business needs, role requirements, and recruitment strategies. • Conduct targeted sourcing through LinkedIn, Indeed, networking, referrals, and other recruitment channels to build strong candidate pipelines. • Screen, interview, and assess candidates to evaluate qualifications, experience, and alignment with organizational values. • Provide coaching and guidance to hiring managers on recruitment best practices, interview techniques, candidate selection, internal mobility, and compensation guidelines. • Influence candidates and hiring managers through strong communication, consultation, and recruitment expertise. • Manage offer negotiations while balancing Giant Tiger's compensation philosophy, internal equity, and market competitiveness. • Coordinate assessments, background checks, references, and other recruitment activities throughout the hiring process. • Maintain accurate recruitment documentation and ensure a positive, professional candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding. • Act as a brand ambassador by promoting Giant Tiger's culture, values, and employee experience throughout the recruitment process.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or a related field where communication, relationship building, and influencing skills are critical to success.
- Professional-level fluency in both French and English, including the ability to confidently conduct interviews and communicate with candidates and stakeholders in both languages.
- Experience building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.
- The ability to proactively identify, engage, and attract talent through a variety of sourcing methods.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.
- Comfort working independently in a remote environment while partnering effectively with teams across multiple locations.
- Experience using an ATS, HRIS (Workday preferred), LinkedIn, Indeed, and other recruitment technologies.
- Postsecondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
