Legal Counsel

Teladoc Health

• Lead the drafting, review and negotiation of commercial agreements, including, without limitation, commercial agreements, vendor contracts and privacy/data protection agreements • Provide practical legal counsel to internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal matters, including but not limited to, privacy/data protection, health care, health regulatory, product regulatory, corporate/commercial, vendor due diligence, procurement, marketing, intellectual property, information technology/artificial intelligence and human resources • Supply legal responses to client questionnaires and requests for proposals/information • Support different legal, privacy, compliance, corporate governance, ethics, government affairs and enterprise risk management programs or initiatives • Collaborate with other subject matter experts as a member of a cross-functional team

Job Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Membership in good standing with a Canadian law society/professional regulator
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of post-call experience
  • Bilingualism in English and French
  • Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter who is eager to learn with sound judgment, professionalism and discretion
  • Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment within a complex, multi-subsidiary global structure

Role Description Figma's Product Legal team is growing! We are seeking a proactive, business-minded Senior Product Counsel to join our team. In this role, you will act as a primary legal partner for our Product, Design, and Engineering (PDE) teams, helping them navigate novel, complex legal questions as our product releases accelerate. We are looking for a strategic thinker with an ownership mentality who can help us build a practical, forward-looking approach to risk management. You'll report to the Director, Product Legal, and play a pivotal role in shaping how we scale legal guidance across the organization. This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
