Epic Tapestry Testing Coordinator

Role Description A large integrated Health System is looking for help with their Epic Tapestry implementation. This project recently kicked off and will have a two wave go live October 2027/January 2028. They are seeking an experienced Testing Coordinator to support the Epic implementation. The Epic Testing Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing all testing activities for an Epic Tapestry implementation. This role ensures system readiness by coordinating test strategies, managing test cycles, and partnering with operational, clinical, and technical teams to validate workflows, data integrity, and system functionality. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage the overall testing strategy, including unit, integrated, and end-user testing for Epic Tapestry modules - Coordinate test planning, test case development, execution, and defect tracking across cross-functional teams - Serve as the central point of contact for testing activities, timelines, and issue resolution - Collaborate with application analysts, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to validate system workflows and requirements - Monitor testing progress, report status, and escalate risks or issues to project leadership - Ensure all defects are documented, prioritized, and resolved in alignment with go-live timelines - Support test environment readiness, data setup, and test script validation - Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure business sign-off criteria are met Qualifications - Experience with Epic implementations, preferably Tapestry (managed care) - Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle and methodologies - Proven project coordination or project management experience in healthcare IT - Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills - Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools Requirements - Epic certification or experience in Tapestry modules - Experience coordinating large-scale healthcare system implementations Benefits - Medical, dental & vision - Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital - 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available - Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) - Short and long-term disability - Health Spending Account (HSA) - Transportation benefits - Employee Assistance Program - Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) Company Description This is a Contract position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.
