Scheduling Coordinator
Peak Support
• Coordinate and assign caregivers to client visits and shifts • Maintain and update caregiver schedules in the scheduling software • Handle scheduling requests, changes, and emergencies promptly • Serve as the primary point of contact for caregivers regarding scheduling inquiries • Communicate schedule changes and updates to caregivers and clients • Collaborate with the care coordination team to ensure alignment between client care plans and caregiver schedules • Monitor caregiver compliance with client care plans and agency policies • Address and resolve scheduling conflicts in collaboration with the senior scheduling coordinator or management • Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of caregiver assignments and client schedules • Provide support to caregivers regarding scheduling-related inquiries and issues • Assist clients and their families with scheduling concerns
Job Requirements
- Experience in staffing caregivers within a home care environment
- Strong understanding of scheduling best practices
- Comfortable managing high-volume schedules
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to make staffing decisions under tight deadlines
