The Regional Contract Manager will manage performance targets, reporting, and financial models while building strong, geographically competitive networks that meet organizational goals. You'll negotiate provider contracts, ensure balanced network composition, and drive growth through strategic forecasting and gap analysis. Primary Responsibilities: - Manage performance target setting, performance reporting and associated financial models relative to provider network contracting - Guide development of geographically competitive, broad access, stable networks that achieve objectives - Evaluate, understand, and negotiate provider contracts in compliance with company templates, reimbursement structure standards and other key process controls - Ensure that network composition includes an appropriate distribution of provider specialty types - Influence and/or provide input to forecasting and planning activities for network growth - Establish and maintain strong business relationships with assigned providers and internal partners - Research provider footprint and evaluate for gap filling - Host Joint Operating Committee (JOC) meetings with accounts and present to senior leaders - Educate accounts on a wide range of topics to enhance their knowledge and compliance with policies, procedures, and best practices, in collaboration with others - Understand and engage with other departments to support all aspects of provider relations - Develop and maintain beneficial relationships with key departments to support account management - Think outside the box to develop creative solutions for account challenges - Work independently with strong self-guidance and motivation - Monitor and assist accounts' with OSHA compliance to ensure safety standards are met You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in a network management-related role handling complex network providers with accountability for business results - Proficiency with Microsoft Suite Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) - Experience with client-facing responsibilities, including issue resolution and contract negotiations - Experience performing network adequacy analysis - Intermediate level of knowledge of claims processing systems and guidelines - Understanding of network adequacy analytics and how to prioritize the work based on data - Proven ability to solve complex issues and unique situations - Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with direct provider contracting, including facility, physician and ancillary - Experience working with large accounts - Experience with building brand new networks - Experience working in Tableau - Knowledge and understanding of military protocol *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. • The Closing Department Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end mortgage closing function, ensuring loans are closed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. • Oversee closing operations, manage internal teams and external title and settlement partners, provide guidance on complex legal and title matters. • Collaborate closely with Underwriting, Credit, Processing, and Funding to drive operational excellence, mitigate risk, and support timely loan funding. • Standardize closing procedures, legal checklists, and document standards to ensure compliant, error-free loan closings. • Improve Clear-to-Close turnaround times by streamlining legal and documentation workflows. • Strengthen quality control processes to reduce post-closing defects and mitigate legal risk. • Build strong partnerships with closing attorneys, title companies, and settlement agents to improve service levels and operational efficiency. • Serve as the legal and operational expert on complex transactions, supporting sound deal structuring and timely loan funding. • Lead the Closing Team – Manage and develop closing staff while ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant loan closings. • Oversee End-to-End Closings – Direct the closing process from Clear-to-Close (CTC) through funding. • Provide Legal Oversight – Review and approve loan documents, title commitments, settlement statements, and legal exceptions. • Manage Attorney & Title Relationships – Oversee closing attorneys, title companies, settlement agents, and escrow partners. • Resolve Complex Closing Issues – Serve as the primary escalation point for title defects, lien priority, vesting issues, legal disputes, and state-specific closing requirements. • Ensure Regulatory Compliance – Maintain compliance with federal and state lending regulations, investor requirements, and company policies throughout the closing process. • Partner with Cross-Functional Teams – Collaborate with Underwriting, Credit, Processing, Valuations, and Funding to resolve issues quickly and keep loans on schedule. • Drive Process Improvement – Develop SOPs, implement quality controls, and streamline workflows to reduce closing cycle times and post-closing defects. • Monitor Operational Performance – Track KPIs such as clear-to-close turnaround, closing cycle time, funding accuracy, defect rates, and attorney/title vendor performance. • Support Complex Deal Structuring – Advise leadership on legal risks, document requirements, and transaction structures.
