• Identify staff or subcontractor resources to conduct field activities on new projects. • Provide technical direction to field consultants. • Prepare required field use documents such as sampling plans and device placement logs. • Complete technical report reviews, assuring that reports are technically sound, compliant with applicable regulations, standards, and Client requirements. • Be a technical resource and provide training and mentoring to junior staff members. • Maintain all aspects of QAQC programs. • Maintain high level of client contact and communication. • Manage multiple projects. • Deliver outstanding client service with timely responses and proactive solutions. • Participate as a dynamic team player.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science-based discipline.
  • Three to five years of experience in environmental consulting in the fields of asbestos, lead, radon, indoor air quality, industrial hygiene or similar experience.
  • Strong report writing and communication skills.
  • Understanding of federal and state regulations and industry standards governing asbestos, lead, and radon.

Title: Project Director Location: USA - Job Description: The Food Systems Community and Research Network (FSCRN) is seeking a Project Director to support the planning, implementation, and coordination of collaborative research and community engagement initiatives that aim to advance food systems equity, resilience, and justice. The FSCRN brings together academic researchers, community-based organizations, farmers, and public agencies to co-create knowledge and drive action that strengthens local, regional, and national food systems. The Project Director will play a critical role in ensuring the effective development of this cross-sector network by managing day-to-day activities, facilitating communication among partners, supporting participatory research processes, and helping build capacity for inclusive and equity-centered food systems transformation. This is a full-time, one-year fixed term appointment, with the possibility of renewal. This is a remote position. No visa sponsorship is available for this position.
