Construction Project Coordinator, Residential/Light Commercial

• Coordinate multiple multifamily renovation and light commercial construction projects from initiation through completion. • Drive project timelines, ensuring milestones and deliverables remain on track. • Coordinate daily with subcontractors, vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure work progresses according to schedule. • Monitor project budgets, identify potential cost risks and escalate concerns where required. • Coordinate material procurement and track deliveries to minimise project delays. • Manage project schedules and proactively resolve issues that could impact deadlines. • Process and track change orders while ensuring project documentation remains accurate and up to date. • Maintain accurate records within the project management system. • Identify project risks early and work with the team to implement practical solutions. • Communicate professionally and confidently with U.S.-based clients, vendors and internal teams.
Job Requirements
- 2–3 years' experience coordinating construction, renovation, light commercial construction or similar construction projects.
- Experience working and coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers or vendors within the construction industry.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working with project management software (ClickUp experience is advantageous but not essential).
- High attention to detail with the ability to follow through and close out tasks.
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Job Description The Building People, LLC, is seeking a Real Estate Project Management Specialist to support a federal client.
