Where the team fits in Reporting into the Head of Corporate Communications, this role sits within the Corporate Affairs team. The primary focus of Corporate Affairs at REA Group is to promote and protect the organisation's brand and reputation. Corporate Affairs has a dedicated program of activity to support the delivery of the Group's strategic priorities and objectives. The team is responsible for media relations, corporate communications, stakeholder management, issues management / crisis communication, government relations, digital communications, thought leadership and reputation management. The Senior Corporate Communications Specialist supports the Corporate Affairs team and plays a hands-on role in delivering the overarching Corporate Affairs strategy. What the role is all about - Support REA Group and its brands through compelling communications using different earned and owned media channels - Write media releases for different business announcements, including pitching stories directly into media - Build and maintain positive working relationships with media with a focus on trade media - Develop communications and briefing materials to support media interviews, external presentations and speeches - Work closely with teams across the business to stay up to date on key activities and product roadmaps to identify newsworthy media stories - Identify external presentation opportunities for senior leaders and manage REA's external presentation schedule - Partner with the Employer Brand team to manage REA's corporate presence on owned digital channels including LinkedIn and rea-group.com - Support the development of company reports such as the Annual Report - Manage REA's corporate website digital agency and media monitoring service including monthly reporting Who we're looking for - You likely will have approximately 5 years' experience in a fast-paced media relations, PR or corporate communications environment (experience in an agency environment is highly beneficial) - Consider yourself a savvy media professional - someone who consumes media, understands what makes news and is comfortable pitching stories to journalists - Strong writing skills and the ability to switch between writing styles - Deep understanding of earned and owned channels - Strong stakeholder relationship management skills and previous experience working with multiple stakeholders at varying levels of seniority - A fast thinker and a good decision maker who provides expert communications counsel - An interest in how AI tools can be applied to communications - Organised, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and agile environment - A natural team player who displays the REA values consistently to the highest level - Considers, understands and respects different views as part of the decision-making process - A bachelor's degree in communications, PR, journalism or a related field is desirable The REA experience The physical, mental, emotional and financial health of our people is something we'll never stop caring about. Role Description GovCIO is currently hiring a Communications Project Analyst to support the Patient Care Services product line within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information and Technology (OIT). The Project Analyst plays a key role in supporting program delivery by centralizing intake, tracking, routing, and delivery of all product line data calls, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and on‑time submission.
