• Be a subject matter expert for best practices in CRM data management. • Serve as a resource for best practices in workflows, and systems, partnering with teams across ActBlue to help guide project planning and execution. • Support the Enterprise Systems Manager in leading projects and critical initiatives. • Be a thought partner with business stakeholders and recommend solutions. • Maximize the use and implementation of existing systems before seeking new ones. • Assist with Business Continuity Planning • Assist in assessing risk and managing the cost of systems across the entire software stack. • Prepare and review documentation for current processes, pain points, and assumptions and continuously identify gaps and opportunities for automation projects that will streamline workflows and processes. • Assist/provide backup in the ongoing administration of Finance tooling, CRM platforms, support ticketing systems, and HRIS, including user roles and permissions, item configuration, reporting changes, and related administrative duties. • Define meaningful KPIs to measure the effectiveness of IT initiatives, evaluate performance through data analysis, and report on program metrics to relevant stakeholders. Identify, prioritize and drive strategic technology and workflow investments to improve those KPIs over time. • Estimate and establish costs of upgrades and improvements and track and manage software and hardware costs during implementation, including navigating budget and functionality tradeoffs. • Document and diagram key system configurations; support key business stakeholders in their process documentation efforts • May support supplementary projects as assigned, ensuring timely and efficient completion in line with organizational objectives and standards. • Implement, monitor, and assist in identifying and diagnosing possible issues with integrations between systems that communicate with the CRM platform, including, but not limited to, third-party data and productivity tools.

• Support the development, maintenance and support of integrations between systems, APIs, services and automations. • Perform integration tests and validations together with the team, ensuring solutions function correctly. • Assist in the analysis, investigation and resolution of incidents related to integrations, always under the guidance of more experienced professionals. • Contribute to technical documentation for integrations and support continuous improvement initiatives for processes. • Participate in meetings to understand requirements, gather specifications and design new solutions. • Assist in implementing integrations using REST APIs, JSON and HTTP. • Collaborate on code versioning using Git and support the consumption and validation of APIs using tools such as Postman. • Work in a collaborative environment with close contact between technology and business areas, building practical knowledge in integration architecture and process automation.

Role Description We are looking for a distributed systems engineer to work on the systems that power the syncing engine our customers and other engineering teams rely on. This presents an exciting challenge where you can apply your expertise in distributed systems, performance optimization, and troubleshooting to push the boundaries of what is possible and meaningfully improve our ability to move massive amounts of customer data. This role also provides a unique opportunity to work on a multi-cloud and multi-region infrastructure that supports a global customer base. This comes in different forms: - You will own and deliver projects from start to finish. - You will work directly with customers to solve their hardest scaling problems. - You will have a lot of influence over what we work on as a team and company. Some of the problems we'll be working on include: - Sync Speed: Customers want to sync a lot of data to important destinations like Facebook and Snapchat, which requires us to analyze every part of our syncing process and find where we can optimize to sync data more quickly. - Streaming Syncing: We currently sync data from sources in batch only, but envision a world where we also do syncs in real-time and support streaming sources like webhooks and queues. - Scalability and Reliability: As part of our rapid growth, we're always evaluating current future bottlenecks in scaling and reliability, and architecting for the next order of magnitude of growth. - Personalization API: Our API product provides a low latency caching layer on top of data warehouses that enable customers to use their data warehouse for real-time personalization use cases with <30ms p90 response times with QPS in the millions. - Multi-Region and Multi-Cloud: Supporting our multi-region and multi-cloud backend, including extending it to launch in new regions to support data residency requirements of our global customer base.
