Job Description

Strategic Venture Partner

dtLabs

Role Description This isn't a traditional job posting because we aren't looking for a traditional employee. We are seeking a Strategic Commercial Partner who is deeply embedded in the US Venture Capital ecosystem (working closely with top-tier accelerators like Y Combinator, Techstars, Plug and Play, and major VC funds). - The Vertical: You live and breathe Deeptech, Robotics, and Computer Vision. You understand the landscape and the technical nuances of these industries. - The Network: You have direct access to founders and C-levels of recently funded startups—specifically at the Seed, Series A, and Series B stages. - The Focus: This is a purely commercial (Business Development) role. Your objective is to leverage your high-level VC network to close deals and drive revenue. - The Value Proposition: When deeptech and robotics startups raise capital, they face an immediate bottleneck: the need to build complex products at lightning speed. That’s where we come in. We provide high-performance outsourced R&D and engineering services. - Your role will be to connect these newly capitalized startups with our engineering team. Instead of founders burning through their runway and wasting months trying to recruit highly specialized engineering talent from scratch, they hire us as their official development partner. We take over the R&D, deliver the heavy-lifting engineering, and drastically accelerate their time-to-market. You will be the commercial spearhead of this operation. Qualifications - Deep understanding of Deeptech, Robotics, and Computer Vision. - Strong connections within the US Venture Capital ecosystem. - Experience in Business Development. Requirements - Direct access to founders and C-levels of recently funded startups. - Ability to leverage high-level VC network to close deals. Benefits - Opportunity to work with cutting-edge startups. - Be part of a high-performance outsourced R&D and engineering service.
