Job Description

Procurement and Purchasing Card Specialist

AAA

• Manage the enterprise Purchasing Card (P-Card) Program and execute procurement activities for moderate to high complexity goods and services • Support business units across the organization, with a primary focus on IT-related purchases • Ensure strong supplier management, data integrity, and compliance with procurement policies • Translate business requirements into sourcing solutions, negotiate pricing, mitigate risk, and deliver the best value • Administer the enterprise P-Card program, including application approvals, credit limits, audits, disputes, and account maintenance • Provide training and support to cardholders and managers • Review and process purchase requisitions and change orders • Execute sourcing activities, primarily for IT-related goods and services • Issue requests for quotes (RFQs) and evaluate supplier responses • Lead supplier onboarding, validation, and approval processes • Ensure data accuracy for supplier profiles and payment details in Coupa • Manage transactional supplier relationships and conduct reviews • Resolve supplier-related issues including pricing discrepancies and match exceptions • Support and manage contract lifecycle activities including SOWs and renewals • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Strategic Sourcing

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of procurement or related experience
  • 2+ years managing a Purchasing Card program
  • 3+ years of category experience (IT, professional services, or corporate spend)
  • Bachelor's degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, and DocuSign
  • Experience with Copilot or AI tools preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and team member management skills
  • Understanding of procurement, P2P, and supplier management processes
  • Familiarity with procurement systems (e.g., Coupa, P-Card platforms)

Role Description The Principal of Commodity Management & NPI is responsible for leading WEKA’s supplier strategy, cost structure, and hardware readiness across key component categories, including SSDs, memory, and networking. This leader will own long-term supplier partnerships, roadmap alignment, cost models, and KPI development to ensure optimal availability, quality, and competitiveness in a dynamic market. They will also drive strategic oversight of WEKA’s NPI pipeline, partnering cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations to manage program timelines, risk, and execution. By combining deep domain expertise with operational discipline, the Director will help shape WEKA’s market agility, influence hardware innovation, and ensure new products launch seamlessly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities - Ownership of the supply chain strategies across multiple commodities, focusing on SSDs, memory products, and networking. - Partnership with key suppliers - roadmap reviews, communication of NPI activities, etc. - Management of NPI processes related to Operations, partnering with integration partners to ensure product availability and quality. - Communication across the company on key activities related to supply chain and NPI projects. Strong communication skills are a must. - Collaboration with engineering and product management on supplier trends, roadmaps, and cost models. - Management of supplier performance and cost models, with a consistent focus on driving down costs in a challenging market. - Development of KPIs with key suppliers. - Management of multiple NPI programs - project timeline management and cross-functional management within projects. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations, or related topic. - 10+ years related experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Supplier Quality, Supplier Development, or related field. - Domain knowledge expertise in data storage, SSD, and memory markets. - Experience with start-ups - ability to work in unstructured environments and knows how to put in “just enough” processes. - Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, finance, engineering, and product teams. - Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and communicate at all levels in the company.
