Strategic Sourcing Analyst

• Lead the sourcing process for the assigned internal client groups (a client group example would be the Operations Organization comprised of direct materials, contract manufacturing, and engineering) • Deploy sourcing tools including supplier search, analysis, supplier management, contract management, RFX development, and execution utilizing the Scanmarket software • Partner and develop relationships with internal clients to define and prioritize business requirements • Research industries and suppliers to ensure the most viable suppliers are identified and considered • Manage the RFX process by composing RFX documents in Scanmarket, reviewing documents with stakeholders, and submitting documents to suppliers • Negotiate supplier contracts for optimal pricing, services, quality and value • Demonstrate value of the Sourcing Department to the organization by defining, measuring and reporting relevant metrics • Manage multiple projects at once, delivering on anticipated timelines and cost-savings • Perform advanced supplier searches utilizing AI
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 7+ years of corporate purchasing experience with increasing levels of responsibility
- CPM, CPSM or similar professional certification desired
- Pharmaceutical experience is preferred, but not required
