VP of Sales – M&A
EPL Group Inc.
• Source and win exclusive sell-side mandates from founder and family-owned businesses in the $5M to $50M EV range • Lead full sell-side processes end-to-end: CIPs, financial models, buyer qualification, management presentations, LOI and purchase agreement negotiation • Build and maintain coverage of LMM-active PE sponsors and strategic acquirers across your target verticals • Partner with EPL leadership on firm strategy, process standards, and platform development • Mentor team members as the practice scales
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of investment banking experience with a client acquisition M&A focus
- Demonstrated track record originating mandates independently, not solely executing deals sourced by others
- Deep sector knowledge in one or more of B2B tech
- Ability to guide owners through high-stakes, emotionally complex sale processes with credibility and composure
- Autonomous operator: able to manage multiple mandates simultaneously without institutional support infrastructure
Benefits
- 100% success-fee revenue share (on retainers and success fees). No base salary. Terms negotiated individually based on origination and execution contribution. For a partner closing 3 to 5 transactions annually in this segment, total compensation is commensurate with senior boutique banking.
