Senior FP&A Financial Analyst

Lumos

• Deliver required input for the Monthly Operations Report presented to the Board of Directors. • Identify key drivers behind financial results and partner with teams to clearly interpret cost variance drivers. • Assist in development of annual operating budget, including bottoms-up budgeting and driver-based budgeting. • Assist in development of long-range forecasts (e.g., 5 Year Plan). • Model major sales deals to determine if ROI meets established thresholds. • Monitor operating expenditures against established budgets. • Deliver monthly results to teams at Lumos as well as Lumos Senior Leadership. • Identify trends and recommend actions based on sound analysis. • Ad hoc reporting and analysis.

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of professional experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a combination of coursework and experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience forecasting, tracking and reporting sales and expense budgets.
  • Strong project and time management skills required to efficiently move between multiple, concurrent projects.
  • Advanced analytical skills; must be able to work through complex issues with a methodical approach; analyzing complex issues, distilling and communicating relevant aspects.
  • Organizational skills, Strong communication skills, change management mindset, passion for developing and supporting peers, strategic thinking and execution, problem solving, emotional intelligence & passion for learning.
  • Advanced MS Office Suite knowledge and usage; must have the ability to learn and work in internal company applications.
  • High degree of comfort when working with large amounts of data from multiple sources.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with PowerBI, Power Automate, or SQL a plus.
