• Review and interpret Medical Malpractice (MPL), Healthcare Professional Liability, GL, and package policies, including claims-made and occurrence forms. • Analyze coverage issues related to medical negligence, failure to provide appropriate care, medication errors, misdiagnosis, and failure to monitor patients/residents. • Evaluate coverage for facility-based exposures, including resident injuries, abuse allegations, and premises liability under GL. • Address complex issues involving policy triggers, retroactive dates, allocation between GL and PL, and multiple insureds. • Draft and issue coverage position letters, including reservations of rights and denial letters. • Oversee and manage complex claims involving nursing homes, assisted living facilities, memory care, and allied healthcare providers. • Investigate allegations including falls, pressure ulcers, failure to supervise or transfer residents, abuse or neglect claims, and medication errors or treatment failures. • Coordinate with medical experts, nurses, facility administrators, and defense counsel to evaluate liability, causation, and damages. • Analyze damages including medical costs, pain and suffering, wrongful death, and long-term care needs. • Develop and execute strategic plans for claim resolution, including oversight of litigation and multi-party claims. • Evaluate exposure and develop settlement strategies considering both professional liability and general liability components of package policies. • Recommend and manage reserves reflecting high-severity healthcare exposures. • Negotiate settlements and participate in mediations, settlement conferences, and complex litigation proceedings. • Ensure compliance with Department of Insurance requirements and healthcare-related regulatory considerations. • Maintain clear documentation of coverage analyses, claim strategy, and clinical/legal evaluations in the claims system. • Serve as a trusted advisor to carriers and internal teams on healthcare liability trends and claim strategy. • Act as the primary liaison with coverage counsel, defense counsel, healthcare providers, administrators, and brokers. • Provide clear reporting on coverage positions, exposure, and resolution strategies.

Role Description RAYUS Radiology is looking for a General Extender to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. As a General Extender, you will be responsible for: - Augmenting a physician's ability to provide medical interpretation services to patients. - Assisting in the creation of all Radiology reports, editing reports for accuracy and compliance with the American Health Association (AHA) and American College of Radiology (ACR) Guidelines. - Working directly with radiologists to place radiographic findings into appropriate reports for all modalities of radiology. - Transcribing radiographic dictations into radiographic reports. - Preparing completed reports for distribution to clients. - Managing the work list of patient orders and distributing orders to appropriate radiologists and/or sub-specialty worklist. - Working closely with other General Extenders to achieve the common goal of having all orders read by radiologists within the required turn-around time. This is a full-time position 100% remote within the US, working 40 hours per week, overnight shift 8p-4a EST (weekend rotation and holidays required). Qualifications - Required: Associate's degree in health science, or related field, or the equivalent in applicable work experience. - One (1) year experience as a Medical Transcriptionist or Medical Editor. - One (1) year work experience which required daily use of medical terminology and demonstrated knowledge of human anatomy. - Preferred: Bachelor's degree in healthcare, or related field. - Two (2) years' experience working in Diagnostic Technology, or other related anatomy/medically focused area. Drug development, privacy, corporate compliance, AI guidelines, etc. • Own all things regulatory + compliance that don’t already have a home outside Legal. • Maintain organized digital spreadsheets of everything • Advise on FDA regulatory strategy and classification for all components of the AI platform, including implications for development, commercialization, and IND/NDA/BLA submissions. • Advise on protocol development, site monitoring, data integrity, biomarker qualification, companion diagnostic considerations, the use of real-world data, etc. • Monitor and interpret evolving FDA guidance on AI/ML in drug development and translate into actionable guidance for internal teams • Support direct engagement with the FDA and other agencies on novel questions when warranted, including in global clinical programs • Review external content such as conference publications for regulatory issues • Inform and review tech product specs, system architectures, and data flow designs for regulatory risk before build and deployment • Develop working knowledge of the company’s technical stack — cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, storage systems, and model architecture — sufficient to accurately represent those systems to regulators, partners, and investors • Advise on data governance, data integrity, chain-of-custody, and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements for clinical data across company systems and third-party infrastructure • Track and assess evolving AI regulation (EU AI Act, FDA AI governance frameworks, state laws) for applicability to company activities
