Job Description

Head of SEO

We Love X GmbH

Role Description We're looking for an SEO Lead to take ownership of our affiliate portfolio and scale it. You'll work with some of the biggest publishers in the world and have a direct impact on revenue. You'll drive SEO strategy across multiple affiliate sites spanning a wide variety of verticals, lead continuous go-lives into new markets, and manage a small team of SEO Content Managers. You'll have the autonomy to set direction, prioritize what moves the needle, and act fast when things change - because in SEO, they always do. At WLX, SEO isn't a support function - it's a driving force. We have the resources, the management backing, and the hands-on expertise to make things happen. And unlike an agency, everything we build is ours: our own projects, run in close collaboration with the world's biggest publishers. That means real ownership, real impact, and no client briefs. If you thrive on launching new projects, love the pace of a high-growth environment, and want to shape a growing portfolio worth millions across a constantly expanding range of verticals - this is the role for you. You'll report to the Head of Product and collaborate closely with publishers, vertical managers, and content teams to turn SEO opportunities into measurable business results. - Lead revenue expansion of existing affiliate sites: Develop and implement long-term SEO strategies, optimize high-value pages for rankings and CTR, and own backlink campaigns across multiple affiliate sites. - Launch new affiliate sites end to end: From keyword clustering, topic mapping, content structure, and coordinating stakeholders to take new sites live from scratch. - Drive on-page and off-page performance: Conduct content audits, improve SERP feature capture, manage link-building tactics, and work with agencies and publishers to strengthen domain authority. - Identify and unlock growth opportunities: Research publishers, size new markets, assess domain authority and traffic trends, and weigh expansion options against business growth frameworks. - Manage and develop a team of SEO Content Managers: Set clear priorities, hold people accountable, coach for growth, and have the hard conversations when needed. Qualifications - Substantial on-page and off-page experience in SEO, with a track record of driving organic growth at scale. - Proven experience managing a team and getting the best out of people while keeping standards high. - Native German and fluent in English (C1+), you can operate confidently with stakeholders in both languages. - Analytical and structured - you prioritize what matters, communicate clearly, and make decisions under pressure. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, flat, startup-style environment. - Experience in iGaming or other affiliate marketing industries is a plus. This role isn't for everyone. If you're looking for a role where success is measured only by ROAS and campaign performance, there are plenty of opportunities out there. But if you're passionate about helping eCommerce brands grow through data, strategy, and commercial thinking, and you're ready to become more than a media buyer, then we'd love to hear from you!

Role Description Work with established DTC & eCom brands. Learn how finance, strategy, and paid media come together to drive profitable growth. Do you believe great performance marketing is about growing a business—not just managing ad campaigns? This opportunity is with an Australia-based growth consultancy that partners with established DTC and eCommerce brands to drive profitable growth. Working closely with founders and leadership teams, they connect marketing decisions with real business outcomes through strategy, analytics, financial insights, and performance marketing. You'll go far beyond campaign execution. You'll work alongside experienced strategists, learning how to connect paid media with contribution margin, forecasting, LTV:CAC, customer acquisition, and overall business performance. As your commercial thinking and strategic capability grow, so will your level of ownership. Qualifications - 3–6 years of paid media experience managing eCom campaigns across Meta, Google, and TikTok. - Experience building campaign structures independently using platform best practices. - A proven ability to identify performance issues and recommend practical solutions. - Experience running structured campaign tests and using data to improve results. - Exposure to commercial metrics such as contribution margin, CAC payback, or customer lifetime value. - Confidence participating in client conversations and explaining campaign performance. - Experience working across multiple channels while identifying broader performance opportunities. - Strong communication skills and the confidence to raise issues early and recommend next steps. - A genuine curiosity about finance, commercial strategy, and the business side of marketing. Requirements - Think beyond campaign metrics and care about business outcomes. - Naturally ask "why" before jumping to solutions. - Take ownership of results and communicate proactively. - Enjoy learning from experienced operators. - Want to become a trusted commercial advisor—not just a media buyer. Benefits - This isn't just your next role—it's the start of a long-term growth path. - As you demonstrate greater commercial thinking, ownership, and strategic influence, you'll have a clear pathway toward: - Growth Performance Marketer → Senior Performance Marketer → Growth Strategist → Portfolio Strategist - Work directly with established 8- and 9-figure DTC & eCom brands, managing meaningful budgets while influencing commercial decisions—not just campaign performance. - Ongoing Learning & Development programs in eCom growth, data science, creative strategy, and financial modelling to keep you up to date with industry trends. - Access to proprietary tools, forecasting frameworks, and performance dashboards. - A clear competency-based career path with opportunities to progress into more strategic roles as your ownership grows. - Remote-first environment with flexibility and a collaborative global team. - Annual team retreats and regular opportunities to connect with colleagues worldwide. Company Description This role isn't for everyone. If you're looking for a role where success is measured only by ROAS and campaign performance, there are plenty of opportunities out there.
