Job Summary This position will be supporting Sales Technology, a technical team within Compass Group, focusing on a multitude of use cases ranging from supporting new business sales, client retention, and operational needs across all Compass Sectors and lines of business. The Microsoft Dynamics CRM Development Lead is responsible for developing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and integrated business application solutions that support sales, client retention, and operational processes across Compass Group. This role serves as the primary technical coordinator for offshore development resources while remaining actively involved in solution development, integrations, platform administration, and production support. The position works closely with functional analysts, architects, and development teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that align with business objectives and enterprise technology standards. This role focuses on technical delivery, international development leadership, and coordination. Responsibility for overall solution architecture, platform strategy, and enterprise design governance remains with the team's Technical Leads and Architects. Primary Responsibilities Solution Development & Technical Delivery - Develop, configure, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and related enterprise application solutions. - Build and maintain customizations using JavaScript, Plugins, PCF Controls, Power Automate, Power Apps, and other Microsoft technologies. - Develop and support integrations between Dynamics, enterprise systems, reporting platforms, and external applications using APIs and Azure-based services. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across CRM, Power Platform, reporting, and integration environments. - Support platform administration, environment management, deployments, and release activities. International Development Leadership - Serve as the primary coordinator and technical oversight lead for international development resources. - Assign, prioritize, and monitor development work to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business priorities. - Review technical designs, code quality, testing approaches, and deployment readiness. - Coordinate sprint execution, backlog refinement, release planning, and technical delivery activities across distributed teams. - Ensure adherence to development standards, documentation requirements, and best practices Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. - 2+ years of experience developing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions. - Experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps and Power Automate. - Experience building integrations using REST APIs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or related technologies. - Strong understanding of Dynamics customization and extension frameworks including: JavaScript Plugins PCF Controls Custom Workflows Business Rules - Experience with SQL, data modeling, and reporting platforms such as Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. - Experience working within Agile development methodologies and DevOps processes.
