QA Engineer I

• The candidate will be responsible for supporting software quality assurance across applications, platforms, and business units. • The role involves designing and executing test cases, developing and maintaining automation scripts, and ensuring product quality through structured validation processes. • The candidate will collaborate closely with development teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to validate requirements, identify defects, and ensure delivery of high-quality, reliable solutions. • This role also contributes to the implementation and continuous improvement of test strategies, automation frameworks, and QA processes. • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and data-driven applications. • Develop, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks to ensure scalability, reusability, and efficiency. • Execute functional, regression, integration, API, and performance testing (including load and stress testing). • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test execution reports. • Validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes to ensure end-to-end quality and reliability. • Perform data validation and backend testing, including database verification and data integrity checks. • Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define comprehensive test scenarios. • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. • Identify, log, track, and manage defects using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms. • Support defect triaging, root cause analysis, and resolution validation in collaboration with development teams. • Analyse defect trends, test metrics, and quality reports to identify high-risk areas and recommend improvements. • Ensure adherence to quality standards, change management processes, and compliance requirements, particularly in regulated environments. • Support the implementation of CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated test execution. • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
Job Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in automation testing and QA
- Experience working in the healthcare or life sciences domain
- Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as: Selenium / Playwright / Cypress
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Experience with test frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Mocha, etc.)
- Experience in API testing (Postman, Rest Assured)
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps / Jira for test management and defect tracking
- Knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure Pipelines)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
