Military Advisor – Operations, Part Time
Mission Technologies, a division of HII
• Provide military advisory support to U.S. and allied forces within the INDOPACOM AOR. • Mentor and advise senior military leaders on command and staff operations. • Deliver training on military doctrine and operations to personnel. • Collaborate with interagency and multinational teams. • Support the development and execution of military exercises and initiatives. • Conduct assessments and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
Job Requirements
- 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate; or High School Diploma and 13 years relevant experience.
- Proven leadership experience in military operations.
- Strong instructional capabilities to advise senior military personnel.
- Experience with the INDOPACOM AOR.
- Ability to deliver military concepts to diverse audiences.
- Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

• Build dashboards and recurring reporting from scratch, using visualization tools (such as Tableau, PowerBI, Excel, etc..) deciding what belongs on them, what doesn't, and why • Pull and reshape data exported from CRMs, help desks, POS systems, and spreadsheets into reporting that answers a real business question • Dig through sales, operational, and cost data to find anomalies, trends, and areas for improvement — and frame what you find so a decision-maker can act on it • Report on things like sales performance, lead funnels, yield, response times, and cost trends across client accounts • Read a P&L or income statement well enough to know when something looks off, even if you didn't build it • Partner with our delivery and client teams to define what's worth measuring in the first place**
