• Own support tickets from intake to resolution, adhering to defined SLAs and escalation guidelines while ensuring clear communication and follow-through with customers • Troubleshoot backup job failures, configuration issues, and restore requests with a methodical and detail-oriented approach • Provide frontline support for Veeam, Commvault, AWS Backup, Azure Backup, and related data protection platforms • Actively monitor system alerts and backup job statuses, responding quickly and effectively under pressure • Follow established escalation paths to Platform Owners or SMEs, ensuring smooth collaboration and handoffs • Document all technical steps, findings, and resolutions thoroughly in the internal ticketing system • Collaborate with internal teams to improve platform performance and overall customer experience • Contribute to the team knowledge base by identifying repeat issues and gaps in documentation

Role Description You'll work in a platform team that builds and maintains the cloud platform services, supporting key components and improving our platform as a product model: - API management - Compute - Data stores - Messaging - Observability - Source control - Pipelines - Cloud resource and billing management You'll offer the platform, services and support to stream-aligned teams building the products that power the next-generation banking services and treat them as your valued customers. - Take ownership and accountability of the internal platform services in your remit and ensure they meet the required quality bars for resiliency, security, and scalability. - Address cost optimisation and operational excellence. - Build and run a platform that enables engineering teams to take their products to market faster and run them reliably and efficiently. - Take full ownership and accountability for the ClearBank cloud platform products your team owns and each aspect of the software delivery, support and maintenance lifecycle. - Regularly gain feedback ensuring they are self-service and still fit for purpose. - Work closely with Technical Product Owners, Agile Delivery Managers, Staff and Principal engineers, Senior Engineering Managers and Head of Infrastructure to define the short-term backlogs, delivery plans and long-term roadmaps for your team. - Support the risk management of your product, identify risk proactively within technology and delivery across the organisation. - Leverage modern technologies where appropriate to get the most value out of existing ClearBank platform offering and deliver additional value in the highest-priority areas. - Ensure best practices are followed within your team to enable them to succeed in the established ClearBank eco-system. - Leverage agile principles to enable collaboration and innovation in the team and with stakeholders outside the team. - Create an environment that drives positive energy and a mentality to succeed. - Work with technical product owners, staff engineers, principal engineers, and senior Innovation leaders to balance engineering priorities with platform product objectives. Qualifications - Experience working in a platform environment. - A mindset of ownership, leading by example and a default to action approach. - Hands-on experience with ClearBank platform technology stack: Terraform, Azure DevOps YAML pipelines and templates, Azure cloud service including Networking, Identity Management, Service Fabric, AKS, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Elasticsearch. - Proven track-record of enabling/supporting teams to operate in a DevOps and/or Platform environment. - Proactive approach in problem, incident and risk management and resolution. - Strong communication skills that can inspire and align your team and outside stakeholders to the platform vision. - Experience in microservices architecture, event-driven architecture, and related patterns. • Collaborate closely with sales leaders and account teams to identify a value delivery strategy for key accounts. • Engage with top prospects to identify, understand, and quantify their unique challenges and potential benefits with dbt. • Define and communicate the dbt Labs value proposition in alignment with customer objectives. • Lead business value reviews / business cases: Effectively communicate the realized business impacts and potential economic benefits of new opportunities. • Conduct thorough analysis of customer workflows and processes, identifying opportunities for optimization and increased efficiency. • Create and deliver boardroom-quality, executive presentations. Work collaboratively with product and engineering teams to tailor solutions to meet the specific needs of our champions and key stakeholders. • Partner with dbt leadership to build new value based GTM motions to more effectively prove product value and grow deal sizes. • Provide guidance on best practices and innovative approaches to maximize the value of dbt Labs solutions. • Conduct training and workshops in conjunction with dbt Labs enablement to increase the quality of their discovery and their understanding of business value & customer excellence. • Build scalable programs and tools to support value selling across all parts of the GTM ecosystem, including Pre-Sale teams, Professional Services, and Marketing. • Help build the future of the value engineering practice at dbt Labs: contribute to the development of best practices and tools for enhanced value-based selling adoption.
