Senior Counsel – Contracts & Risk Management

Tanger

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents specifically including SAAS agreements, contracts, NDAs, vendor agreements, and corporate policies. • Manage general liability litigation, disputes, bankruptcies, and lien matters, coordinating with outside counsel and internal stakeholders. • Provide legal guidance to technology, marketing, leasing, field teams, and other departments to ensure compliance with applicable laws, generally, and more specifically, laws related to cyber security and PII. • Conduct legal research and interpret legal documents to determine company obligations and risks. • Respond to regulatory inquiries and manage claims with governmental agencies. • Assist with protection and management of company intellectual property including trademarks and copyrights. • Mentor and support legal and administrative staff; provide guidance and training as needed. • Review legal documents prepared by team members for quality, accuracy, and compliance.

Job Requirements

  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
  • 9+ years of legal experience in-house or similar environment.
  • Experience in contracts, leasing, and/or litigation.

As Commercial Counsel, you will support a broad range of commercial transactions across Doppel’s global business.
